tea or coffee?

Coffee is a must-have; I get a splitting headache otherwise. Feels like more of a necessity, whereas tea is something I can relax with. Oolong and milk teas are my favorite.

I do enjoy coffee with a lot of milk, though. Love the smell in the morning!

I like both tea and coffee, but I don't drink either particularly often. I don't feel the need for the caffeine boost. I'd probably have to say I prefer coffee in a general sense, but there are so many different varieties of tea I haven't yet explored, so it's not really a solid position.

I'll vote Both for the poll.

Coffee. I remain in a zombie-like state until I drink coffee in the morning.

I definitely am a tea drinker. I usually only drink coffee when I'm working and even then, I pour a ton of milk into it because it just so bitter. -_-

As for tea, I'm a huge fan of black tea, usually Earl Grey, Irish/Scottish Breakfast, and mmm...smoked tea. I can't get enough of Lapsang Souchong, especially on a cold, crisp day. I'm also a big fan of Chai, including both the traditional chai and the more Americanized chai lattes. Gimme the spices! 😎

Tea for me! Saddly, coffee gives me the jitters and makes me feel odd aha

I love both, but prefer coffee. There are so many different ways to customize the drink and it gives me something to look forward to every morning.

Both? Love them too much to pick haha

I recently discovered that a 'pumpkin spice latte' from starbucks is essentially a chai tea with some coffee + milk/cream.

Also???? Not from america but putting cream in coffee is like the best?? Why does no one do it anywhere else? :(

Tea! There’s so much variety in tea to the point that what’s not to love about it?? I especially love milk tea and bubble milk tea!! With chai, earl grey, english breakfast and taro milk tea with black pearls being my absolute favourites!

I do like coffee too! But I prefer tea, although iced coffee is pretty good too!

I prefer coffee, but I like both. The strong bitter flavour from coffee is just the best =w= I know many people like to add sugar or sweetener, but that completely ruins the taste for me. With tea I often can't really discern different tastes very well unless it's been soaking for a long time. My friends always used to complain I only have the cheapest kind of tea because it mostly tastes the same to me lol. Right now I have Chinese oolong tea which is pretty good. My favourite is ice cold mugicha from Japan, it's so refreshing and with a subtle flavour.

I like both, but I prefer coffee. As a college student who's constantly tired, coffee is essentially the only thing keeping me from having an existential crisis. I hate black coffee though, so it has to have cream and sweetener in it. When it's really cold and I just need something to warm me up rather than an energy boost I'll drink chai tea.
Sounds like you have a high heart rate! To much caffeine can cause that. But nothing bad

Both for me! Surprised tea is in the lead given the overall coffee preference of most Americans. Husband prefers coffee. I love both, especially black tea, but also green sometimes too. Love dark and rich coffee. I usually have one cup of coffee in the morning and then three tea bags for a strong singular black tea "cup" sometime afterward. I prefer Earl Grey, but any black tea will do. Love the astringency.

Caffeine actually doesn't affect me that much usually! The only time I've ever felt shaky and sick from it is when I drank a takeout cup of Diet Dr. Pepper (the name brand). I don't usually drink it, which is why I had no idea it'd have that kind of adverse effect on me. Never again!

Ah that's good
Hmm l wonder if Diet Dr. Pepper will affect me. In October on the 5th, I was like hey l haven't had coffee in a while and maybe this time l will feel less sick. But l was wrong because l got very shaky and sick. So l never had caffeine again from coffee, only decaf. Even though l alao drink soda, but it doesn't affect me. Sorta strange.

My mom is very sensitive to caffeine. She can't really drink regular coffee or soda with caffeine because she'll feel sick for hours. It's odd how much it can vary from person to person.

I know right, and I can get very sick from drinking tea, and I actually get like a cold from it.

Coffee is my drink over tea any day. I do like tea occasionally but I've definitely been drinking more coffee over the past couple of years plus I've found I've increased how strong I like it. I still have 2 sugars so it's still sweet but I add more coffee to make it stronger.
