Collectibles you regret buying/selling/trading

The only one I remember regretting selling was the Ditto Egg. Thankfully I was able to buy a new one for around the same price that I sold my original one for. So it wasn’t too bad.

I hang on to all of my collectibles because I am scared of letting something go and not being able to get it back. I definitely have regrets regarding how I have spent event currency in the past which is sort of in a similar vein.

I don’t regret selling anything, but I regret buying stuff during the fervor for shop restocks (like this black rose); I treat tbt and purchases the same way I do in real life - buy only what you need and Marie Kondo the rest of the things that don’t spark joy 🤩 lol. I tend to declutter my inventory, but many items are gifts from friends now. 🥰

It helps that my tbt income and savings is reliable now, compared to having to post and trade piecemeal when I first started. Tyty to my patrons! I don’t worry about missing out anymore and anything I sell I can eventually find again.

I wish selling art was an option for me. We're fighting for nickels and dimes in Nook's Cranny

I definitely have a few regrets.. selling my pinwheel is definitely my biggest. Though the person that I sold it to wanted it more then I did. Trading away my galaxy & disco eggs, again the people that got them are enjoying them more than I could have, though I did get a sweet set of arcade collectibles which are like my second favorite now. Also Selling my beautiful Ice cream swirl lineup ;-; wish I didn't sell those (had 6 i think). But thats about it.. also if u have a pinwheel for sale hmu xD

regret trading my Love ball for a purple candy in the year i got the ball brand new. I seriously cry sometimes because I don't have the collectible and being upset getting nothing worth to it's value when I sold it. Makes me sad when i think about it. Also I earned that collectible in the pokemon event the year of its anniversary.

Thats HORRIBLE. I understand! Once on another website I gave away 10 MILLION bells I had saved up and the person that won the giveaway blocked me and called me mean on my page after he got the bells like😠. SERIOUSLY DUDE?

No it was back when I used Nookazon, I no longer use that website because many people were horrible and rude. They only used me and many people would only ask me over and over nonstop all day message me for free stuff so im no longer active there...

I have exactly one collectible regret. My first ever collectible was a sheep plush I got at the last fair. Shortly after I bought it someone pm'ed me about wanting to date trade. I had no idea what that meant and we swapped. I liked that the sheep plush had my name on it, as in - I bought it myself so in my inventory it was listed with my name below it. After the trade it had the traders name - which did upset me because I didn't know that would happen and it didn't feel like "mine" anymore 😅 . At one point I traded the sheep for something else - I can't remember what it was though. I miss it so much now - and even if I buy one again in the future, it won't be as significant as the first one I bought with the currency I struggled to earn. :') Maybe it's silly, but that's how I feel.

well it's not exactly a regret, since I'd of sold it off either way, but I could've in hindsight done to wait a bit more before selling my moon ball

as the **** ended up spiking to double+ what I sold it for in value shortly after I did end up selling it

Server or website? Nookazon usually does a good job keeping those types out. I have an account with 300+ reviews. Out of the 300+ trades I've been in, maybe 4 or 5 have been bad

It was on the literal website so I was tired of people being rude. I also was tired of anytime I would list anything that wasnt free no one would offer even if it was just a 100 bells. I also hated people being nugrateful and just STALKING the Free section so that they could get tons of ree stuff and not let anyone else have any. I just hated how people were rude and mean so it got on my nerves finally and I stopped using that website. So yeah it was the actual WEBSITE.

Honestly, it sounds like you don't know what sells/how to price items. When I'm looking to get the most Bells/NMTs I can for an item, I go to Nookazon. The people on there generally are not cheap. I can help you. If you want a rundown of what's popular and how to price items, DM me

Honestly no, pretty much all of the collectibles I've ever sold weren't that expensive, I think the most expensive one was the daisy Easter egg which I sold for about 400 tbt. I have also traded collectibles before with @LittleMissPanda, but both collectibles we really wanted, (for example we did a trade recently for a Frost Egg for a dark egg) so definitely no regrets there

Only thing I remember that I kinda regret buying is an orange collectible when I first joined the forums that now just sits in my inventory, guess I could have done without it. I don’t sell collectibles often enough to regret selling anything (hopefully it stays that way). I once traded a green star frag for a blue star frag and regretted it because green frags didn’t seem to come on sale that often (or at all) compared to blue frags. luckily I was able to get a green frag during the last forum event so it’s fine.

Your line up is SOO CUTEEE THE COLOR COORIDINATION!! I wish they had Jacob's ladders/Lily of the Vallet's or green mums for the green stars!!! <3 Cuteee :D

Okay, not to be rude but I had started using them in august 2020 and then stopped in october 2021. I sold free real paintings, gold nuggets, iron nuggets, clay, free wands of all types, every NPC poster, free villagers, Zodiac DIYS, Star Fragments, Free House payments, and hybrids. I KNOW what sells so I dont want to be rude but I am not going to respond anymore as its hurting my feelings :( Today was supposed to be no drama happy day 😡. I am going to go and play Splatoon 🌞 Thanks for trying to tell me then. 100 bells for 50 star fragments sounds fine to me.

If you don't have the time or patience to sell the orange, you could drop it in Miharu's adoption shop https://www.belltreeforums.com/threads/adopt-a-collectible-open.466781/

I regret not being more careful about my purchase order during the last bell tree fair! Basically I slightly messed up the order I wanted for star fragments so I had to buy an extra blue one I think? I could have afforded a celeste chick plush if I had been more careful, I think.
