hello there!
i am not sure there is a specific thread/section for contests suggestions, i looked around a bit but couldnt find anything like that, so i thought id just post it here!
id like to suggest some contest format which i used to see on a mmorpg forum and thought they could be hosted by the staff on tbt, since i think ac let us be widely creative !

• animal crossing fashion design contest

each week (or less frequent), staff could host a fashion contest,
each time there's a theme to follow, for example: dress up for an halloween party/dress up for a pajama party, etc.
the most original one wins (1-3 winners idk). Of course there should be some rules, like not using full sets (wearing a full mage
set for the halloween party would be a bit meeh)
prize: x amount of tbt?

• animal crossing photography contest

each week (or less frequent) we could have a photo contest! just as the fashion one, we could have a theme as well !
like sunsets, villagers, areas and such! people could set up lots of scenarios and things like that!
prize: x amount of tbt?

apologize if this was not allowed or anything like that!

i really like these ideas! it would probably be more work but i hope the staff considers this as i think it's a really interesting idea and a fun way to foster creativity/board community.

We are definitely going to be holding some ACNH-related contests in many future forum events to come! The camera/video function is way too great to go unused Members are also welcome to hold their own member-run contests with their own prize pool as well, as long as it is not advertised as an official TBT event and are posted in the appropriate boards. For example, a photo contest should be posted in the Animal Crossing New Horizons board and actual in-game contests (such as a maze, treasure hunt, etc.) should be posted in the Airport (AC:NH Online). ACNH contests that run more like a forum game should be posted in the Basement.
