I would really love the game more. If we can do cooking via a cooking station.

For the ingredients if it’s not possible to grow the ingredients. Perhaps the ingredients can be bought from Nooks Nook place.

Because if one of my friends was having a birthday for example. I would love to bake a couple of different flavoured cakes.

That would be really sweet to be able to bake a cake for friend’s and villager’s birthdays. I love the idea. I can see us having a recipe book app on our Nook Phone. With all the fish we have in the game, I would love to make a seafood restaurant and serve some red snapper.

And even have a refrigerator to keep your food from going off as well.

I have other ideas to add, which are related to the cooking idea.

A greenhouse building where we can grow raw ingredients in. Which the greenhouse is expandable inside, like our house. So we can grow a variety of ingredients, for recipes we can cook with.

Other greenhouse ideas is we can upgrade it to have a sprinkler system as well.

Also cooking the recipes when eating certain meals. They will give certain status improvements. Improving your chances rate to obtain tings that are difficult to get. You can also give your friends and visitors recipes that you've already learned to them as well.

A storage cupboard to store pots and other kitchen utensils in.

Speaking of which. There should also be a shed like building. So we can store our tools in. So then the main house storage, can be used for the house decorations and furniture.

Also cooking recipes are based on real time. So if you have your Switch console on standby. It would sound the reminder alarm (oven/stove timer sound) that your meal is almost ready to collect.

Kitchen counters would be a great addition. so there's enough cooking space as well.

If Animal Crossing allowed us to grow vegetables and cook as well - I'd need to set some serious boundaries down for IRL vs gaming time :ROFLMAO:

The idea is so nice to daydream about.

What I have so far is the frying pan.

I can customize it.

I have the rice cooker.

I have the furniture for soup.

I have no other food items other than fruits, the furniture for juices (I haven’t committed to memory these items names—sorry!), and the mixer (colored orange).

I do not have anything like cake.

No.

Cooking would be a nice feature in NH and you can give villagers your cooking and their friendship level will go up.

I heard in pocket camp there was a growing vegetables update? if so I wouldn't be surprised if daisy mae started selling seeds for other things besides turnips in the future. It's not cooking but maybe they would make different diys out of those vegetables

I'm actually am looking forward to the big update and the expansion. I'm very surprised that they're adding cooking feature.

I would like to know who’s idea is was to turn the Animal Crossing franchise into Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons? I’m just not sure how I feel about Animal Crossing farming.

I like the idea that cooking gives us more points to be able to pickup the trees or shatter things. Fruits only give us 1 point, and it’s a hassle to keep eating fruits. If there’s a recipe that give me 5 points or more, that’s great.

Frankly, it's not really farming any more than growing your town fruit is farming, imo.
It's not required, it isn't going to be the biggest source of profit, etc.

I quite like the variety of things to do, myself.

I mean, it’s not any different from growing fruit trees and flowers. You do that in Story of Seasons too.
