According to legend, Mundus Cetaceus, otherwise known as The Space Whale, has been in the skies since the dawn of time. It is said to appear when one shares good memes. One of the stars in its star pattern is very hard to see with an untrained eye.

Doing a space whale was no option! This was very hard doing in ibis so I tried my best with the straight lines.

In the southern celestial hemisphere located just under the Dog Star Sirius and the Canis Major Constellation is a lesser known Puppis related constellation called LuLu Puppis … it is not always visible as it is of greater distance and slightly less luminosity. I felt so privileged to share this viewing with my entire crew while we travelled through deep space … strange … I only happened to catch its glimmer with the Lopez Observatory telescope when, I swear I felt an almost imperceptible (and achingly familiar) nudge of wet nose! I’m sure it was LuLu directing that viewing! Perhaps she will assist in locating the illusive Gulliver too!!

Cosmic Super Space Bunny!

If you look really closely into the night sky you will see a constellation in honour of Cosmic super space bunny.
In 1961 when Vostok-1 was launched into space it came across a massive crater.
It was within seconds of making contact with Vostok-1 when, what the astronaut could only recall as a super space
bunny flew into view and destroyed the crater. While cosmic super space bunny was never seen again,
it was due to their heroism that the first manned spacecraft made it back to Earth.

It is said that this celestial swallow acted as a messenger to the gods of the cosmos. Gods that have been lost to time, and might just be an urban legend. However, this constellation is perhaps a reminder that a shred of a long lost era still lives on in today's time. This constellation seems to shine the brightest during the month of February as well, which has lead some people to believe that this bird might have delivered love letters, and have alternatively given it the name "Swallow of Passion".

When I was fishing late at night, I caught a whale shark! I was gonna sell it at Nook's Cranny for 13k bells, but it actually died in my hands not long after I caught it. I was feeling a bit sad because I wanted to pay off my home loan, but when I looked up at the sky, I saw him, there in the stars... I may still be in debt with Tom Nook, but at least my dead whale shark buddy is thriving in the sky.

The Cherries-In-The-Sky Constellation are used to help guide people home. When navigating, you must determine which direction the cherries themselves are facing, and use the top of the stem to indicate the direction the North Star (Prunus) is, rumored to be a part of the Pie-In-The-Sky Constellation.

Legend has it that the cherries were used as a symbol of fertility and love. People would send the fruits to their prospective love interests as a way to express said interest. This tradition carries on into today, where people consider the cherries to be a symbol of good luck for new relationships and marriages.

When looking in the sky for this constellation, try to find other, related fruity constellations.

Hi! Unfortunately I cannot accept these two entries, as the main goal/challenge of this activity is to create a constellation by connecting the existing stars on the template, rather than adding your own. You are both welcome to submit a new entry in a new post!

Unfortunately the description of this entry is just a bit shorter than the required 50 words and the image is missing your name tag. Could you update your entry and either submit it in a new post or send them to me directly? Thanks!

All fixed now, thanks! ^^

Woops! I misread 50 and assumed that was the maximum! Will do in a bit.

Gazing at the stars, I was able to come across a cat-like pattern, and when I looked hard enough, I was able to piece together ears, a body and a small tail. whiskers not included apparently, but still very catlike. It made me think of my own cat back home, and led me to decide to plan a trip to see him.

Have you ever wondered what happened to unicorns? Legend has it they were majestic creatures, with flowing manes and pearlescent horns. They were dubbed heaven's favorite, prancing around in meadows all their own. With no predators and no danger, the unicorns led very peaceful lives. Until they all started eating each other. Who would have thought animals so beautiful would be capable of things so cruel? Their kind has thus been banished to the skies, now only to be seen within the winking stars of the night.

The Happy Omelette constellation, featuring a mascot of the same name from famed restaurant Bistro Des Dizaines. They were best known for their variety of egg dishes, such as the Triple Upside Down Sunny Side Up, Angeled Eggs, and, of course, the Happy Omelette. Wait times for the restaurant were upwards of eight hours, and the head chef was bombarded daily with egg-related inquiries from the press. This constellation was created to honor the restaurant at its peak. Unfortunately, the public is no longer able to taste Bistro Des Dizaines' legendary yolks due to a tragic murder shutting down the establishment. The head chef became a prime suspect, now walking on eggshells with the law after reportedly stating that he "had un œuf" during questioning. This case has given the Happy Omelette constellation a new, ominous reputation, and citizens report feeling uneasy as it smiles over them at night.

Upon gazing out into space if you are lucky you might happen upon the “Little Bunny” constellation. She is full of energy and delight and cheers each Moon Bunny on throughout the duration space camp. She isn’t actually a Moon Bunny herself, but that’s ok as she is considered an honorary Moon Bunny by everyone within the Moon Bunny crew.

You are standing outside and you look in the sky and you see a constellation of a balloon that is slowly deflating, legend has it that a child who lost a loved one sent a balloon up to the stars in hopes that their loved one could enjoy the balloon just as she had.
