My QRCrossing page. I will only make flags that were or are of official use. Anything from a show, cartoon, anime, etc., I won't make. Feel free to use any of these as you please, whether it be your town flag, or house decoration. :)

Added requested Scottish flag.

New!

Bump. I'm still here. I'm probably going to make a Swedish flag next.

that's not how the Japanese flag looks. If you want the Japan flag, do nothing to the design other then add a big red filled in circle in the middle.

Will you be doing a Frisian flag? I'm biased because that's where my husband was born and where his family still lives now.

Just wondering! You are doing wonderful work. I really like the worn look. However, if you ever do a Frisian flag and it was 'clean' I'd probably use it for tiles, too.

Your work is appreciated. You have a lot of talent. :)

I love the Frisian flag! Thank you so much. *hugs!*

They do look like hearts, don't they? Actually, they are really some sort of water leaves of a yellow lily that is very common in that area of the Netherlands. When my husband and I traveled there a few years ago I bought all sorts of Frisian souvenirs and they all have that pattern. When I said how cute the "hearts" were my in-laws laughed and said that they aren't really hearts, but the leaves of a yellow water lily but they do resemble hearts. :)

You don't need to make a 'clean' one. This pattern is wonderful! I'll be using it at once. Thank you again. My husband just saw this and said that he can't believe anyone actually made a Frisian flag. I think that means that HIS mayor will be using it for a town flag! ;)

Glad to know I'm not the only one who mistakened the lily leaves for hearts. I'm happy to have helped out with this. I started this thread soon after creating the German flag for my town. I'd like people to use these, that's why I made them to begin with. Someone on QRCrossing asked me tonever stop making flags like this, so I may eventually make each one. :)

You do great work! And no, you are certainly NOT the only person to mistake the leaves for hearts. I think everybody does, really. My entire family here in America, my friends, and many others all commented on the "cute little hearts" until my husband finally said (but not angrily), "Look, they are NOT hearts! What country in its right mind would put hearts on their flags?" Lol! We all laughed. But that flag design is popular, let me tell you. When you are in the Netherlands they have all the yellow designs for the "Dutchy" stuff AND all the blue and red Frisian ones. People love them equally, it seems, and Friesland is very independent in their dialect and what they are known for. The Frisian horses with the giant hooves, for one, and carriages and even their Delft factories.

Ack! Sorry for the derail, but I am just so happy that you made the Frisian flag. I also hope you continue on. :) Would you also consider some older versions of the American flag, such as the 13 Colony one and the "Don't Tread On Me" design that was once considered and used in some areas? I don't mean now, but maybe if you are bored some time and feel like messing around.

Wow...when I think about it, the world must literally have, and have had, many thousands of flags.

I could try the 13 Colony flag. The Gadsden flag on the other hand, maybe. Putting text is pretty tricky, and I'll have to see if I'll have enough room for that. And Happy Easter!

I bet a lot of southerners would like to see a "rebel" flag (the Confederate flag) from the US Civil War. I don't particularly, but I think it'd be popular. Keep up the awesome designs.

(If we had more pattern space available, I'd be collecting these to put in my Around the World exhibit.)

Funny you should mention that. I was working on a Confederate flag sometime ago before I decided to scrap it. Two reasons. Reason one, I didn't want to post it on QRCrossing and on BellTreeForums and end up getting banned for it. Reason two, I know some people get offended by the Confederate flag. I wouldn't mind working on controversial flags, specifically because they're flags, but I know that they wouldn't be that much appreciated here or anywhere else if I did. So if I am to make a Confederate flag, it'd have to be asked from me to get the QR code.

I can understand that, most definitely. Personally, I wouldn't mind as they are part of history, as is every other flag that's come and gone representing a faction that was disliked. It poses a good question, though. Decision noted and respected. c:
