DAILY DIY if you have an amiibo

Hi, just wanted to share this!
We all know if you invite an amiibo they will give you a DIY request and after completing the 3rd one they will ask to move in.
Well I did some testing. If you complete the villagers 3rd request but don't invite them to your island, the next time you scan that amiibo they won't give you a DIY, that just ask about moving in right away.

But on that 3rd request, if you just take the DIY and don't give them the item, the next time you invite them they will give you another DIY request.
Note: they may request a DIY that you already know. In this case, they just ask you to make it without giving you a recipe.
Also for this testing I've invited the same amiibo (Tex) and each time he has come he's requested a different item.

I'm not sure if there's a limit. I've gotten my amiibo villager to give me a 6th DIY. I'll continue testing it throughout the week.

So essentially, if you have an extra amiibo villager you don't plan to invite, you can use it everyday for a chance to get a random new DIY recipe!

Small Update. This definitely works! Sometimes though they will request a DIY that you already know. And they won't give you an extra copy, they just ask you to make it.

The good thing is, you really only need one amiibo to do this. As long as you don't complete that 3rd request, you can just invite the same villager back everyday for a chance to get a new recipe.

Also BTW as obvious as it may be, you can't use an amiibo of a villager that you already have on your island. You can scan it and they will pop up like normal but the text will say something like "I don't want to take up space that someone else could be using".

Flora - first was flower wagon
Julian - third was golden candlestick

And I invited Colton twice and he asked for the same items.

Also I believe you can get the DIY and invite another one.

Only proof I have is Colton looking for the same items, and someone looking for a gold nugget to craft the candlestick for Julian here.

I know they ask for more than three because more than one asked for something I couldn't make so I just invited them again until they wanted something I could make.

I've been doing this since I could invite amiibo, haha! It's worth noting that people are saying that DIYs are personality locked now, so if you want a great variety from them, probably use cards with villagers of different personalities. They definitely aren't locked to just 3 DIYs either.

Julians first item for me was a golden candlestick but Lolly’s second set of DIYs were different so

I can't say if the first two are set or not, but the 3rd definitely is not. As long as you haven't already completed the 3rd request you, you should try and see for yourself!

Idk if the will ask for seasonal DIY like bamboo, all I have been asked are normal ones.
