"So if it's a few years, I'm going to be waiting for the handsome, heroic man who I fell in love with, dying trying to save someone in battle instead of an old, wrinkly, slightly less handsome man who dies of old age?" I ask, grinning.
I adjust my shirt as I climb out of the tent to look for the others. "Where the hell is everyone?" I ask as I try and straighten my hair.
"Not sure. Maybe we should look for them."
"I'm sure so long as you keep some of your good looks, you'll be fine," I reply, giggling. "Speaking of looks, what's with the totally different hairstyle?"
"Being the selfish person that I am, I don't really want you to, but shouldn't you focus on waking up? If anyone has found you unconcious, they'll probably be worried that you haven't woke up..."
I walk along a path and follow the foot prints in the dirt. "I think they went this way." Dragging James by the collar, we walk trying to find the others. "Dammit, I think a button on my shirt has fallen off." I mutter as I inspect it. "I wonder how that could of happened..." I chuckle as we reach the others.
I never want this kiss to end, but I know it has to. This is going to be one long wait, but for him, I'll do it.
"Don't forget, I'll always be here waiting for you," I say just before he goes.
I smile, and walk towards the exit to the cave. I look back one last time, then turn away and wake up, surrounded by everybody. "How long was I asleep?"
"You're heavy... It took a lot of energy to lift you out of there..." I mutter, still exhausted. "You looked so peaceful, were you having a good dream? Wait, what conversation? "
