I sit on my bed in the brute room, and light up my hands, trying to spread the lumen properties through th rest of my body.

"I should find the others and act like nothing happened." I mutter, setting off to find the others.

I bring one of my lit hands up my other arm, and it tingles because of the concentrated light, which is close to the point of burning things.

Opening the door to the brute room, I find Chiyoko on her bed. Stretching, I walk over to her. "Hey."

"Hi Alex," I respond, shutting off the light now that someone else is in here.

"What are you up to?" I ask and sit on my bed across from her.

I put the staff (which I'd apparently carrying around all this time) under my bed and just sat there, contemplating.

"Trying to make myself fireproof," I reply. "Or I was, anyway, but I d t want to do it when anyone else is around in case something goes wrong. I don't want to accidentally set fire to you," I add, giggling.

I heard some talking going on in the other room, so I headed over there. "Hey," I said. "What's up?"

I nod at Chiyoko and notice Sam walk in. "Oh, hey. Nothing."

"Alright then..." I mumble, listening.

Ignoring Sam as he comes in, I pick up a bobble from a stand near my bed and tie up my hair, which had been loose for a while.
