"I dare you to ding-dong ditch the house next door." I say, knowing of the old lady who lived there.

I look out the window and see the house next door. It barely has anywhere to hide in. Everything gets tense.

This isn't quite what I was expecting of a dare... I think as I stand up, and walk outside.

I watch the dare take place.

When I get outside, I look at the house next door. There's no way I'll manage this, it's too far to run straight out of the front yard in time and there's nothing to hide behind...

I sit in my rocking chair petting my cat Charles. Then, I see a girl from the ice cream store. Not again, I think remorsefully

I look out the window and wait for Chiyoko to do the dare.

I walk out of the house and see them all there. "Can't you nincompoops leave me alone?" I shout. "Go, Charles!" Charles bares his teeth and dashes toward the girl.

The woman sets a cat on me, and I turn around and run as fast as I can away from it.
