Buenos tardes, amigos. My day started off with a knock at the door, when Chief came by to see me. I'm glad that only your best friends stop by to see you, otherwise it would really get on my nerves. I got the Flowery Painting I ordered from Redd yesterday, took it to the museum, and it..was...REAL. That never happens. Maybe Redd finally turned over...a NEW LEAF. *ba dum tss*
In other news, dearest Mitzi has caught a cold. I will personally see to it that she gets better soon so we can play together again. Then later, I was walking by Lolly's house and noticed that she and Becky were engaged in a conversation. But alas, I arrived at the scene too late, for Lolly started storming and Becky with her smug little face turned tail and walked away. Well Becky, you just ruined any chance we had of being friends. And Lolly, I will be extra sure to protect you from this monster. -_- *sigh* Stuck-up types and their drama.
Wart Jr. made a fascinating statement today. He wondered why people would put something so hot so close to their head just to get their hair to stay in place, adding the very good point: "Fashion be crazy, man." Wart Jr., you have no idea. It's a wonder I still have an ear lobe after how many times I've burned it! I like this momentum we have going, so why don't you go on to invent something amazing that will fix people's hair without any hassle whatsoever.

Here's my #1 favorite public works project, the Zen Garden. I wanted it so badly for the longest time until Chief finally suggested it for me. Bless his soul. I already had the Zen Bell nearby, so I cleared off the rest of the area and made a little Zen park. I'm not entirely sure I'll keep it like this forever, since it feels a little cramped and I'm not a huge fan of the cobble paths, but I really like it for now. I was pretty excited when someone suggested the Hot Spring too, since it looks rather nice here also.
I guess that's all for today. Now I'm going to round up some flowers and decorate Becky's new house. And possibly bury a pitfall seed or two.
