Day 366

Hello, everyone, and welcome to day 366 of my daily adventures in Shizen! As soon as I started off my game for the day, I saw that I had mail. I only received 1 letter from Sparro for no apparent reason. However, he sent me a candy machine, which would go nicely with the Sweets theme I've been working on.

After I got dressed, I ordered some takeout coffee from Brewster and was on my way to check out what was going on for the day. I came across Midge first, and she mentioned something about Lobo having a cold. For the past few days, I've been giving him medicine, but I inferred that today was probably the last time he would need the daily dosage. I made a mental note to pick some up at T&T Emporium later.

Tex pinged me afterwards and wanted to trade my new candy machine for his radiator. As much as the radiator would fit in my rustic Cabin themed room, I decided to decline. I needed the candy machine more and besides, I could order a radiator off of my catalog anytime.

Both Kitty and Shari came up asking for a new greeting, and I gave them what all the other villagers had - "hello." Neither of the two had ever had a greeting before, so I was glad to make some villager progress there.

Shortly afterwards, Sparro shyly told me that he wanted to send Shari a gift, but was too nervous to do it himself. I agreed to take it over for him and Shari opened the present on the spot. It was a juicy-apple TV! Shari handed over her straw shirt to reward me for going through all the trouble of delivering Sparro's gift.

With needy villagers out of the way, I headed over to the campsite and, for the first time in days, saw that it was occupied. Inside I found Spork. He's a cute looking pig, but I passed him by. As much as Shizen needs a lazy villager, he wasn't the one I was looking for. :(

After I did some fossil hunting, I got down to shopping and picked up Lobo's medicine, some plants from Leif, a cuckoo clock, and a pair of kimono sandals from Kicks. When I came back from Main Street, I made the trip to Lobo's house and fixed him up. Hopefully he'll be feeling as good as new tomorrow.

Since I've been planning on customizing more furniture, I took my cabin dresser over to Cyrus and got it done in the "Patchy tree" design. As I waited for the 30 minutes to pass, I watered my flowers, worked with Brewster at the coffee shop, and Wolfgang kindly invited me over to his house.

I made sure to send him a letter thanking him for the visit, and attached a modern lamp to it as a present. It's pretty obvious that his house is quite empty! :p

To end the day, I journeyed to the island and participated in the Tuna-Kahuna Tour. (On a side note, when I got back to Shizen, I picked up my newly designed cabin dresser.)

Keep watch for future posts. :)

Aw, I should've gone to the island today! Oh well, I did a 20-medal tour yesterday anyway, and I really needed a break from beetle hunting so much. c:

Yep, beetle hunting can take up a lot of time. I might have to cut down some trees on my island because they don't spawn with the number I have. D:
