I must say, all of the new blogs everyone is starting are incredibly inspiring! Keep up the good work, y'all. :D I love reading about everyone's towns, and I hope my viewers enjoy reading about mine. With that said, I'll get started with what happened in Storrs today.

Changed my outfit, emptied my mailbox, saw Whitney -- the typical start to a day. I had three deliveries from T&T (Classic Tables for Lily's), and letters from Chief and Mitzi. Chief thanked me for coming over to visit yesterday and Mitzi wrote to tell me that she's become addicted to writing letters, and wondered if that made her a "word-aholic." Aha!

It looked like Whitney was still wanting something new for her house, and I vowed to help her again if anything in the shops caught my eye. Honestly, I don't even know what kind of stuff to look at for Whitney's house. Evidently, she doesn't even know either.

With that, I set off on patrol. Took my usual route because I wasn't feeling that adventurous. I noticed the new Face Cut-out Standee I commissioned in the new forest was completed, and I was very happy with how it looked. I put up the design I found just for it, and made sure to see Isabelle about the celebration later.

Everything was eerily quiet today. Mitzi was in her house, no Wart Jr. across the Suspension Bridge to run up to me, and even Buck and Chief were in their homes. I was slightly suspicious. But I carried on and told myself I would visit each one of them after I finished my walk. Checking around the fountain in front of the Town Hall I heard a ping, and soon enough I saw Becky come into my peripheral vision. I was hoping she would want to move, but knew that wasn't likely as Wart Jr. was currently planning on leaving. Instead, she asked me to come up with a new greeting for her. I was tempted to come up with something deriding, but couldn't think of anything and resorted to "hi."

Next up was the Zen Park, and I dug up all of the bamboo shoots that were everywhere. I thought I would keep them this time time; I've wanted to try a cut-bamboo hedge along the path in several parts of town. Then across the Cobblestone Bridge, I found Felicity almost hiding behind her house. She told me a delivery had gone to her house by mistake.

Seriously, Pete! It's starting to really disappoint people now. This has got to stop.
I took the present with me to take to Mitzi's house when I got the time.

Continuing on and searching around the bonfire, I found a book lying on the ground. By the looks of it, someone had set down on a stump to relax and read.

A fabulous spot, I must admit. While checking the last bit of town in the hybrid breeding field, I asked anyone around if they'd lost a book. So I found out that it wasn't Whitney's or Fang's. When I finished the last of patrol, I thought I would take the delivery to Mitzi's and see if it was her book, since she seemed to be in the habit of losing things lately. Turned out, the package was a Cafe Tee she'd ordered for me and the book was, in fact, hers. Really, Mitzi! The last three lost things I've found have been yours! And this time, it wasn't right outside of your house. You're going to have to keep better track of your things. She gave me a Fall Leaf Shirt for returning it to her.

After taking my fossils to Blathers and selling my first batch of findings, I planted a few bamboo starts where I wanted a hedge and collected any hybrids my flowers bred to move to the beach with the others. Along the way, I found Deirdre near her house, by the Cobblestone Bridge.

Okay...of the two of us, who looks the most like a ladybug here?
She went on to ask me if I would catch her one, and I agreed to do so if I saw one.

Before I went to do my routine shopping, I thought I would stop in to visit my other friends who were home. I started with Wart Jr., and he informed me that Chief had caught a cold. Aw, my dear! I immediately rushed out and straight over to him. Indeed, he was not feeling well at all.

We have actually been friends for ever, Chief, and I'm not letting you keel over on me now! Poor thing thought he was dying. </3 I rushed straight up to T&T (Buck would have to wait), bought some medicine along with a few other things, and ran right back to Chief. I gave him the medicine and hoped that would make him feel better soon. At least he has a comfy Robo-Sofa to relax on (thanks to me). I also noticed that in place of the Cafe Tee I bought off of him yesterday, he sat yet another shirt. Looks like I'm going to have to send him something to replace it with instead. For then, I left him to rest.

Then I could walk nextdoor to see Buck. He told me that he heard Gulliver passed out on the beach again and that he doesn't even get worried anymore, since it happens so often he's most likely fine. Haha, pretty much! So that's what I did next. Gulliver told me he was going to a tropical island where they say Aloha, so that was obviously Hawaii. Funny, I thought, since that isn't technically a country, but I'm looking forward to a new souvenir anyway. I didn't actually have to wait too long; He was just here three days ago.

On the way to the beach, though, I did run into Deirdre and she called out to me. She didn't suggest a PWP, unfortunately, but rather offered to sell me her Fall Leaf Tee. I wasn't discouraged, since I remembered I'd sent her her original Fall Leaf SHIRT, so this wasn't an act of ungratefulness. I was pleased to see that I didn't have the t-shirt version in my catalog and happily bought it from her.

Lastly, I ended my day on a high note: the ceremony for the standee in the now-finished forest!

No Wonderland is complete without a Cheshire Cat, after all.
I plan on growing the trees farther south and around the campsite and that's where I'll stop.

That's all for today; I'll see you all next time. :)

I love your Blogs! Like I've mentioned before, I need to start one of my own soon. :)

I'd love to read a book on one of those tree stumps too.

I like the ladybug photo. What a coincedence! ;)

Sorry to hear that Chief is sick. Marshal caught a cold yesterday as well, so I'll need to bring him medicene.

Aw thanks Meghan. :D Again, you totally need to start a blog!

Get well wishes to Marshal. <3 Seems like yesterday was a good day for lots of villagers to get sick, haha.

There's actually a Tumblr somewhere that has screenshots of most of the villager's original house layouts. I've forgotten what it's called, but it's a big help in figuring out a villager's style.

Aw, poor Chief! My Lolly is sick today, too. Think it's spreading from town to town?

Awesome, I called the Cheshire Cat! xD

Oh that's interesting, thanks! I usually know what my villagers like if I can remember what series they had the most of when they first moved into town. But I got Whitney from someone else's town, so her house was probably already messed up by the time she got here. x) Ah well.

Yeah, I think that is a probable explanation as to why all of our friends are getting sick. We must be carriers of the germ and it's spreading through our posts. d:
