Hello! 'Twas a soggy day in Storrs. Therefore, my new outfit would have to wait until another day. But the steady gentle rain was refreshing; I always enjoy walking about with my umbrella. :)

Before I get into today's happenings, a few significant things happened last night. I decided to go ahead and try out the Log Bench and I figured the best place for my idea is where Lolly's house used to be. Step one of decorating up to the Queen's castle, I suppose. After I set up the donation plot, Felicity came running over to me. I don't quite remember what she asked of me, but I think it was a delivery for someone. Chief maybe. Anyhow, when I'd returned to tell her it was done, she gave me her picture! I'd gotten her picture on April Fool's Day, but now I have another copy for my museum room featuring Storrs's heritage. And it means we're at the peak of our friendship. ^^

Also you can see my Lolly standee in the background there. I was going to keep it up for a while to remember Lolly's wonderful presence, but I thought I would go ahead and demolish it to have more room for the project I was planning. Tip: If you want to set up a new PWP and demolish one all in the same day, commission your new PWP first, but DON'T pay it off. That way, if you return to Town Hall, Isabelle won't tell you she's "too busy" to order a demolition. After you do that, pay off your PWP and boom, one up and one gone the very next day. ^^

Now, onto what happened today! I scrambled around for an outfit with an umbrella that also consisted of a t-shirt and not a jacket, since I thought it would still be pretty warm out. Whitney was outside and I spoke to her. She told me she couldn't believe she had to put on sunscreen today, and I couldn't either. It was going to rain all day, for crying out loud. But then she said she always put on sunscreen no matter what, so I couldn't really blame her for that.

I set out on my walk the way I usually prefer and found a tent set up at the Campsite. Inside was Snake -- He must be on a camping tour or something, since he was in Animalia not too long ago. He was pretty cool, and we played a game to determine how much he would pay for the Relay Shorts I was carrying.

While searching the breeding flowers behind the Plaza, Fang came running over and convinced me to buy his Detour Arrow. Colton was just behind him so I went ahead and spoke to him too. I found Felicity and she gave me a Space Heater because she thought I'd said I wanted one. I didn't, but I couldn't turn it down. Chester asked me to get him a perfect fruit and rewarded me with an Aroma Pot for a perfect pear.

After I finished checking up on the town and selling all of my discoveries, I thought I would patronize Sahara, who was visiting our town today.

I just love it when she says that. x)
She hooked me up with a Cityscape Wall and Mosaic Tile, neither of which were exclusive or looked good with the other, or my room.

On my way to sell them, Whitney called me over and offered to give me her Neutral Corner. She'd only replaced that in her room ages ago...I wonder why my villagers hold on to things so long.

Once all of that was done, I stopped by the Town Hall to attend to my mayoral duties. I turned down the ceremony for the Log Bench since I'd prefer to celebrate completion when I get the whole area finished. That said, I commissioned a new Face Cutout Standee just a couple spaces behind the bench. Whatever will I do with that? We'll have to see. ;) I planted a couple of apple trees on either side of it, so hopefully those look nice as well.

Colton wanted me to catch him a sea horse, and I thought that would be much more perfect for him than the fish he presently had in his house. He thanked me with a Pepper Mill. He told me he wouldn't forget my favor as long as I wouldn't forget his present but I gotta admit, I totally will.

And that's all for today! Hopefully I can get those two new projects looking nice enough to share tomorrow.

Kind of sad to see the Lolly standee go...but I guess you can always build another one when you get her back. And you WILL get Lolly back! :D

Congrats on Felicity's pic, and good luck with the PWPs. Also interested to see your museum room, since...ahem...yours truly inspired it. :)

Congratulations on getting Felicity's picture!

I just now understood Saharah's carpet joke. :p I need to start having her redesign my house. I haven't done it in a while!

Stephen; I will get her back. I am determined.
Lolly is only on a little vacation. *nodnod*

And yes, you did indeed. xD
I'm trying to finish it before I show it off! I still need a lot of pics.

Meghan; Thanks. :D
And you should patronize your wandering camel. It doesn't seem like she gets much love.

I'm glad you got Felicity's picture! I'm still working on warming up to my villagers. I've done lots of tasks for some of them, but they can be pretty stubborn sometimes!

I can't wait to see what the face cutout design looks like! :)
