Good evening, everyone! I'm back with more shenanigans from Storrs. So let's get into it, shall we?
My day started off as usual -- changing my outfit and checking my mail. All that awaited me today was a sweet letter from Melba. Straight out of the gate, no surprise, I found Whitney and she wanted to come over to my house. Wanting to make up for denying her several of my items lately, I was very eager to have her over for some quality friend time. I gave her the grand tour, and she complimented each of my rooms.

Seriously? It's always Colton, Colton, Colton with Whitney! I've decided that she definitely has a thing for him, and all the drama she stirred up was just an attempt to get his attention. Quite the wrong way to go about it, if she knew anything about Colton. Anyhow, I think I more of copied HIS house, what with my regal set in the back room. After she'd seen all there was to see, she saw herself out and I had to put my game away before coming back this evening.
Setting off on patrol, I first came across a new tent in the campsite.

She was quite fabulous. She never wanted to play any games or chat about much, so I left her to her travels and carried on with my walk.
I found Melba outside of the Cafe, and she told me she wanted some new furniture. Hooray! I had something just for her waiting in Re-Tail, which I would make sure to get later. Lily was home, and I could have a visit and check out her house for the first time.

It's so retro and cute, I love it! I'm also rather envious of her Green Table...I still don't have one. x) While I was there, I agreed to buy her Robo-Floor and help her save up for a book she was wanting.
The rest of my search of the town went by quietly, and after I was finished I sold my findings, searched the shops, and made sure to update my dream address. The evening, just before dark, is my favorite time to make a dream. ^^ And things look a little bit better than they did the last time I updated; I'd be much obliged for a visitor or two!
Then I made sure to locate Melba and hand over her gift.

It used to be hers, except she put it up for sale a while ago. But I was happy she was glad to take it back. I hope she puts it out in place of her Blue Bookcase, instead of her Minimalist Dresser she was trying to replace the other day. My reward for helping was a Clothesline Pole, which was new to my catalog. When am I going to get the next catalog badge?
Before I called it a night, I saw Isabelle about the Zen Garden completion ceremony. I must admit, it looks rather nice beside the pond.

I'm not sure how I'm going to landscape around it yet, but I know I want a lot of bamboo stalks. Too bad I don't have enough room to plant them on the sides of the Zen Garden, but I'll find another way. I also want to build another Hot Spring, probably down below. I could do without the Zen Bell we used to have, but if there's empty space enough, I won't hesitate to build a new one.
After the crowd dispersed, Deirdre pinged me and I wondered if that was finally enough to show her how great it is to get new PWPs (only after certain villagers suggest them!). Alas, that was not what she wanted, and I let her talk me into buying her Patchwork Dresser for an egregious 3,000-some bells. I may never get that Wisteria Trellis and Bus Stop.
And that's all for my not-so-busy day in Storrs. If all goes well, I'll be back tomorrow with more news and nonsense!
