Good evening, everybody and happy Friday! Not much happened in Storrs today, but a few significant things did so I'll be as brief as possible (only slightly).
'Twas a usual morning save for one thing -- Whitney wasn't outside as soon as I came out. Instead, she was in her house today. I stopped in for a visit and she informed me of a strange man lying on the beach, which could only mean Gulliver! I vowed to try and remember to find him later, but if all would go as normal, I would probably forget.
I found Colton in the fruit orchard across the river from his house and he wanted me to get him a new piece of furniture. I didn't have any particular piece set aside for him, so I would make sure to come up with something later. Lily was out near her house and she, too, informed me of a suspicious bird lying on the beach. They must really not want me to forget this time.
Just after I spoke to Lily, I found a lost item on the ground and went back to ask if it was hers. Fortunately it was, so I didn't have to do any owner hunting at all. She thanked me with a coconut for finding her bag and giving it back to her.
Next, I found Deirdre outside of her front door. She told me she'd gotten something for Felicity, but she hadn't come to get it yet. I'd just seen Felicity a moment ago, so I agreed to take it over to her. I did that next, and Felicity was happy to get her Persimmon. And, again, she thanked me with her picture! She's been giving me a lot of those lately.
At the end of my search of the town, I found Fang outside of Re-Tail and he told me about a time capsule he'd made up when he was bored. He admitted it wasn't quite the type of thing he would do (and told me not to laugh), but said it would have been pointless if he didn't have it buried. I conceded to help him out and went to bury it beside of his house, so I couldn't forget where I put it.
Then I went through the motions of assessing my fossils, selling them to Reese, and watering my breeding flowers. I thought a bit about what I wanted to give to Colton since the shops weren't selling anything that would match his decor, and decided I would just give him one of my Regal pieces and order a replacement. I went with my Regal Vanity, since he needs something to make sure he stays fabulous! He said that it was a very stylish choice, and gave me an excellent reward!

Woohoo! One new item for my green room. ^_^ Now I just need a table and wardrobe to complete the set. Therefore, I had no regrets in giving up one of my personal items to a good friend.
Also, I didn't neglect taking Melba a second dose of medicine. I did that hastily and I hope she'll be out and about to play with me in a couple of days. :3

Since today was a little uneventful, I thought I would take some pictures of my right wing to share. It's essentially exactly the same as it was before I did my theme challenge, save for some mush items I omitted when I recently redid my house.

One of my favorite rooms, based off the mad tea party in Alice in Wonderland. ^^; I'm not entirely certain I want to keep all of these chairs, particularly the Flower and Pave chairs, but I'll keep them until I can find better ones.

Also, as time goes on, I'll be sure to collect some other tall plants to line the walls with. And I've been trying to get a Jungle Wall for this room for forever.

Now, it was only after this that I realized that Gulliver was still lying down on the beach. I went down to talk to him and he described a country to me that was the first in Europe to explore the rest of the continent by boats. I had absolutely no idea and narrowed down my choices to Spain and Portugal. Not much help, considering they're practically the same. I went with the former, which he said was wrong. Oh well, I hope that he has fun in Spain anyway!
Lastly, I will leave you with this, the feeble rainbow that came out above our town just after the slight cloud cover dissipated.
