Hello again, everybody! I didn't post yesterday because pretty much nothing happened. Not much happened today either, but here's what went down anyway.
Yesterday, Whitney wanted to come back over to my house for another visit. She made the same "Colton knows how to hog a couch" comment as last time, but that was all she said about him. Greta wanted something returned to Melba, which turned out to be flooring. Melba wanted me to help her come up with a new greeting and I suggested "'Ello mate" which I think suits her very well. I had Isabelle commission a demolition of the one Flower Bed outside of the Train Station, to make room for the Illuminated Arch I was planning on building there. Deirdre wanted a fruit and I brought her a pear; She thanked me with her Flame Shirt and I was SO glad to get that hideous thing finally away from her. Oh, and did I mention that she changed into her Fall Leaf Shirt I sent back to her? That's even better than setting it out in her house. ^^

Now onto today! It was very overcast outside, so I took my sunglasses off and grabbed an umbrella, just in case. Whitney was outside and told me she was planning on moving on the 18th. Never going to happen, Whitney!
We had another camper today, Tex. It seems like a lot of my blog buddies' villagers are taking vacations in my town. This time from Shizen. x)

He asked about moving to Storrs a couple times, but I told him that he didn't need to. He should at least ask Meghan for permission first.
Colton wanted me to catch him a Koi. After I'd done all of my duties for the day I did some river fishing in hopes to find one for him, but I never did. I did manage to catch a Nibble Fish though, which apparently I'd never gotten before, so I suppose it wasn't all for nothing.
Buck was at home, and he wanted a new piece of furniture. Later in Re-Tail, I found a Sloppy TV! Apparently Buck had put it up for sale, but it had never been in his home before so I thought it would be perfect to give to him. And it was my first ever Sloppy item.
Felicity was also home today, and I went inside her house to find Melba visiting!

Gosh, Melba has only been here for a few days and she's already a very acclimated citizen. My villagers have been positively the best to her!
Greta had something she bought for Buck. She needs to lay off of my boys for crying out loud! I took it for her anyway and made my way up to Buck's house. I gave him the package, and evidently it was the Comfy Sweater he had asked for. First of all, it is summer and secondly, it didn't look very good on him anyway. Not terrible, so I told him that it just looked OK. Next I gave him the Sloppy TV, and I gotta say it looks rather perfect.

He thanked me with the Dapper Shirt that he just replaced.
Outside of Buck's house, Colton came running over to me and asked me if I thought he was cool or clueless. Cool, obviously! He was happy to hear that, since he thought he had lost it. Never, Colton. You the coolest forever.
After I donated my new fish to the museum and did my routine shopping, I set up a place for the new Illuminated Arch. Withdrew some bells from the bank to pay it off, and I can't wait to see how it looks tomorrow!
Whitney pinged and gave me a Fresh Tank because she thought it would be perfect for me, but it's the thought that counts. Melba asked if she could come visit my house and since she was ready to immediately, I agreed to have her over and give her the tour for the first time. She didn't stay long, but it seemed like she enjoyed herself.
After that, I thought I would get a few more fairy-tale themed items for my house to try to boost my HHA score even more. Got quite a few things, and borrowed some old villager pictures from the museum that I didn't already have in my house. While I was arranging things, Chief stopped by for a surprise visit.

If you stayed in another room long enough, I wonder if they would leave? xD
He only stayed for a few minutes and gave me an Hourglass for my troubles, which was a new addition to my catalog.
On my way to sell it, Fang came over and asked to buy it. I figured it would probably look really nice in his house, so I agreed to let him have it. A bit later I found Whitney at home, and I was excited to stop in and see what she did with her Baby Bear. As I expected, she replaced her Makeup Case. BUT I TOLD HER TO REPLACE THE DHARMA. Maybe some day. We chatted for a while and she brought up the point that Felicity and Deirdre seemed to be really good friends. I was happy to hear that it was obvious, since I always imagined them to be a good pair because they live so close together. And later, at Melba's, Melba said the same thing!

So it must be true.
Lastly, I made a quick trip to the island and did a few tours so I could have enough medals to buy the Mermaid Clock for sale today. Every fairy-tale item helps! We'll see how my score turns out tomorrow. See y'all then.
