Back again with more news from Storrs. I didn't post yesterday because I was busy all day, and not much happened in town anyway. Let's get started!
Day 471
First of all, I had an interesting letter from Whitney yesterday. She said she was writing to tell me something very important...but then she ran out of space. Could it have been what happened between her and Colton?
I guess I'll never know...
I found Melba at home, and she was very interested in something I was carrying.

But she has one...right there, in her house! And it's probably been there for a very long time! Nevertheless, I agreed to sell it to her and make her happy.
Greta gave me a Tatami Bed, which was supposedly "perfect for me." I found Felicity at home, visiting with Fang. It's been nice seeing him hanging out with the girls on this side of town.

Well of course, they're only cousins after all.
Later, I found a lost item in the breeding violets next to Fang's house, which turned out to be Melba's bag. She rewarded me with an Elephant Slide for finding it for her. After that, Chief had something he wanted delivered to Melba. She was just getting all sorts of stuff today! It ended up being the Tent Wall she had been wanting, and she thanked me for the delivery with a Sunset Tank. I wonder why villagers ever want wallpaper/carpet...it's not like they'll ever change theirs.
Lastly, Whitney wanted a peach and Deirdre wanted to move. I stopped her on the spot; She can leave when she suggests the PWPs I want!
Day 472
Right after I left my house, I found Fang in the plaza and he called out to me. He said he wanted to replace his Sleek Sofa and asked if I had anything about the same size. Finally! I'd been waiting for him to get rid of that for forever. I would definitely find something new for him later.
I found Colton inspecting the town's new illumination arch, and he asked me if I could get him a fruit. APPARENTLY he'd run out of juice while up all night "working on a special note for a special someone"...
Whitney, perhaps? Or, if nothing more, possibly an apology letter to her for whatever went down between them? Hm... Anyway, I ran down below Re-Tail and grabbed Colton a peach I'd shaken down yesterday. He seemed to enjoy this and thanked me with a Boxing Barricade.
I found Buck at home for what felt like the third day in a row. I hoped my buddy wasn't coming down with anything! He hasn't, yet -- He seemed fine today, and asked me to find Whitney and bring her to him. I figured she'd still be hanging around our houses by the time I finished patrol and agreed to retrieve her as soon as I was done with my walk.
Felicity was outside of her house and had something for Fang. He'd asked her for something, and she totally spaced out about it. That only made since, considering the time they spent "bonding" just yesterday. I agreed to take it to Fang for her as soon as I had the time. I finished my stroll through town shortly after that and found Fang where I'd left him in the plaza. I handed him the gift, and he said he'd asked Felicity to order it with the intention of giving it to me! What a surprise. It was a Five-Ball Tee, which I appreciated but didn't intend to keep.
After that I found Whitney, exactly where I expected. Before I could tell her that Buck wanted her, she wanted to give me a Blue-Zap Suit, even though I told her I hadn't really asked for one. Then I informed her that she was needed elsewhere, and she agreed to follow me to Buck's house.

It was rather anticlimactic, but Whitney was glad to get her Pickle Jar back, impressed by the good condition it was still in despite Buck having it for so long. She said she had some shopping to do and left after that, and Buck thanked me for my services with a Patchwork Sofa.
Lastly, I wrapped up my day with a trip to Main Street (ordering a Classic Bookcase to give to Fang later in the day), spending some time on the Island doing tours for enough medals to buy a Cabana Vanity for my catalog, and doing a little landscaping. The work I've been doing to the path up to the Queen's Castle is coming along very nicely, and I'm excited to finish it completely so I can share it with you guys.
