I never expected to get hurt by the thwomp...did people expect that? Lol. And I guess it should have been expected that you couldn't walk under it. Either way, kind of a shame that you can't. Anyway, I'm pumped for this update. I didn't even realize that tomorrow was the 1st of March already. That 5 items per order rule is going to be painful to abide by. Definitely need two pipes first...

i already have the clothes and a warp pipe by my house & on redd's beach but i probably won't get much of the other stuff for now since i wouldn't know what to do with it

I mean, the interactivity of these items is
pretty much on par with the rest of the items in this game. I don’t think it’s fair to expect that we would be able to pretty much make literal Mario courses in New Horizons a la Mario Maker or something.
I’d agree with what you said in that they’re good for what they are. Pretty cool for Mario fans, but lackluster for everyone else

I'm not a fan of Mario so I wasn't too excited about these items myself originally, but was pleasantly surprised by the warp pipe. I think this item is going to be super useful for me when cleaning out my storage or something since you could potentially easily go back and forth between your house and Nook's very easily.
i justo really like the pipes, super useful for cliff areas or if you have used all inclinations around your map, this item is a real 10/10 for me personally. Love the clothings !!!! really cute, other than that i would say the coin is fun and im sure i will be able to place the star somewhere cute. I am not a real fun of the Mario items cause i dont see how i can place them around my map as they just stand too much out, HOWEVER, I am very excited to see some people second islands, i know there are very creative pp out there and that they are fans of the Mario series too out there so im sure there will be fun Mario kind of themed islands, very excited for them to come

Yeah I do. To get to it. Go into my home thats located on Layer 3 its the blue home and there you'll see a green pipe. Go inside and go down to the basement to see all the Mario items. If you want to explore my island go ahead

The warp pipes are what I'm really looking forward to getting. I've already set up my spots for them. The outfits will be nice, as well.
I'm so excited for the Pipes! Although I'll be using mine to teleport to a Mario-styled area, rather actually using it to teleport around.
As for the thwomp, I'm not too surprised. I would rather not have to watch my character get flattened every time I get too close. Would've been a nice touch, but it's something I can personally live without

I'm not bothered by any of this since it's kinda expected. They mostly serve as props anyway.
And being able to order 5 items at once & seeing what you're getting is better than trying your luck on a limited stock of fortune cookies in NL (I still want fortume cookies though). Kinda wished there's a piranha plant and the rotating fire thingy.
Anyway, I'm excited to get it real soon.

Well I suppose if it was RNG based like the Fortune Cookie in New Leaf it would be annoying so I guess its better than buying them.
As much as I loved the fortune cookies my luck with them was terrible. It would still be nice to see them come back. It will take a little time to get them but yea it is nice to know what you are getting.

like I mentioned before you need to have only two pipes in order for the teleport to work if you just have way too many of them it will be random depending on how many pipes you placed on the island.
I know how they work, and was only using two.

Still you should continue using it because it helps save a lot of time from running around the island just to get to certain places. Here's a tip. If you want to say empty your storage quicker, put the pipe inside your home and then put one by the Nook Shop so you can sell the items and get bells. Or if you want to start fishing or diving have a Pipe by the Nook Shop and have one in your pocket if you want to go back to the shop quickly. Trust me I tested this myself and it works.
