Did Nintendo tease details about the Game in the announcement?

I know we weren't shown any gameplay or given any information regarding the Game,

but I've been dissecting some of the dialogue within the Announcement and I think there may be hints shown, such as Isabelle potentially being Mayor and the name of the Game being "Animal Crossing: Coming Home" (due to Tom Nook mentioning it)

of course there is no hard evidence to show this but it's fun to speculate and I think Nintendo purposefully adds details (such as the Switch on Nook's desk) to give fans clues and hints and hopefully more than just a JPEG announcement.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this?

The Isabelle being mayor thing seems to be a popular theory at the moment and I think it has a little backbone to it, although I wouldn't necessarily say it's evidence for sure!

'Coming Home' is a really cute name and I would be down for it! I've had trouble thinking of other names that could fit. That would also fit with the idea of being able to take your Switch with you and then also 'come home' to play it on the TV.

I don't think there are any other real hints though!

'Coming Home' would work well with the game title. It's also fitting that many people have busy schedules so when they have the time, they can just play Animal Crossing to relax.

If Isabelle is supposed to ?be the mayor? ...then... who was speaking to her? The 2 responses of the person sounds like what we would say to her when we caught her sleeping...(not that we minded)

If we are to be mayor again (or someone with more authority, not too much) ...at least let us give people time off...like Digby and Isabelle, like if we knew we weren?t going to work that day, we could tell her to take the day off... the only times she?s off is during some events (even then she just stands in the plaza...heck...during bunny day she tells you to go enjoy festivities...I could say the same to you, Isabelle, no ones coming in at all. If I have to enjoy this day, you?re coming with)

Also...yes I?m aware if you have her amiibo...you can force her to have a day off...but it seems forceful...

I was kind of thinking they could expand the campground from NL and integrate it with the campground from PC. It'd be more of a recreation/relax area. They would still have their camper we order items from, but they'd also hang out and have fun. And we could customize it too like in PC. That way if we scan their Amiibo (or an option to give the day off like you said) they could have fun. It'd be so cool to see the hardworking NPCs having fun.

I feel like isabelles dialogue was 100% just to misdirect and confuse the viewer. Everyones brains just flew a million different directions, right? I don't think isabelle will be the mayor. I think we will most likely remain the mayor.

That said... would I love it if the game was about 'coming home' and returning to the root of what the series is about... the animals? Yes, I would. I just don't feel like that will happen.

Here?s my thoughts!!!

One: it's release will be after smash, so our beloved AC characters can take a break and come back to their home. 2. It's release is after HHD (which we all know kinda sucked, and Amibofest which also kinda sucked) and then Pocket Camp... let's just go back to our roots and come home to the game we all know and love.

I LOVE the idea of naming it Animal Crossing: Coming Home. I HOPE that will be the name!!!
