Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
i have started after like almost a year of not touching the game, its pretty fun to add new stuff and replace old ones.
i am very burnet out - as an example - i heard that there are food recipes in the sea but i will never use a rod or go diving again cuz of the time i spent on it previously for the museum.
so yeah cooking and vegetables are cool and fun but i set my boundaries for this patch
my routine these days are brewster - kapp'n ride for a gyroid - harvs island - katarina and reese are very cool.
and sometimes i add those new ladders or vines or new items to upgrade my island.
if i keep on goin i just find myself wondering the island for 2 mins and then i close the game.
its nice cuz they made a new loop for people that are in their aftergame
i don't think it will last more than 1-3 months for the averege player
maybe youtubers and streamers can squiz like a 6 months of content out of it
i found the DLC to be a huge time consumer, but it has alot of cool items to buy.
so i "go to work" every 2/3 days
I think people rushing to complete Happy Home Paradise is a huge mistake. Completing it too quickly (within like a day or even a few hours), and you could get burned out quickly again. I think that’s what happened with the release, we all pretty much rushed it and got burned out after a few months. Designing can only entertain you for so long.
I hadn't touch AC in about 8 months, maybe a year honestly, used to struggle to even play for 10 mins before i decided to just drop the game completely entirely, cause playing would just make me insanely tired bc of how boring it had gotten for me! I'm back to playing several hours every day/every other day just doing the DLC, working for poki to fill my catalogggg
I had actually started to get back into playing a week earlier because I was sick and bed ridden for a week. And then it worked out perfectly because the update and expansion were also coming out. I got so excited!!
largely, yeah! I reset back in June in order to try and revive my interest in the game, but after the intro bit I quickly found myself losing motivation again. I was trying to get myself back into regular gameplay, but that would only last a couple days at a time before I quickly fell out of the habit again. but in the lead up to the update and now, of course, the new content is out I've found myself playing a lot more! i'm still not quite at the level I was when the game very first released, but that's probably in part due to the fact i have a lot less time to play now than i did back then
I did stop playing Animal Crossing consistently a couple of months ago because I wasn't sure what to do and I'm not the most artistic and I would get annoyed at not being able to have a cool looking island. However when I saw what was coming for the 2.0 update it peaked my interest so I'm starting to play it more but I am trying not to play it so often that I get sick of it so I'm taking my time with certain things (but making sure I do check in daily cause I want to get the brewster gyroid.)
It did me. I had stopped playing after I built up my island a fair bit just couldn't find any inspiration. Just felt blah over all took a break until 2.0 restarted my island because I remembered the blah feeling as soon as I loaded it. Took time to find something that sparked and have been playing at least an hour or two a day most days ever since.
I'd check in every now and again, but I was burnt out and tired so yeah 2.0 got me back into playing for a few hours everyday (trying to limit myself because 1. I don't wanna feel burnt out again 2. BDSP comes out soon and I'm pre-emptively getting used to jumping between acnh and anything else 3. college sucks)
I was still playing even before the update was announced, but I was only playing it sporadically. I'm playing it a lot more now, although I suspect the DLC has helped more with that than the actual update. I love designing homes more than I do the island in this game.
No, I kept playing it even though it was an incomplete game. Albeit I kept restarting because there wasn't much to do except terraforming and usually that never ended up right for me.
I'm glad a lot of people are getting back into it.
It for sure brought me back. With all the new Items I finally have ideas for all the empty space on my islands, and HHP being integrated with ACNH is a dream come true.
I've been playing consistently since launch, so the update was just a nice cherry on top of everything else
The only 2.0 features I've really been using are the cafe and camera angles, but that's been plenty for me. Glad it's encouraged people to come back, even if only for a little while.
