Digby: What's Going to Happen to Him?

Digby's role in New Leaf allowed players to go the Happy Home Showcase. This feature made use of the 3DS streetpass. The Switch does not have streetpass functions so what's going to happen poor Digby in NH? I would hate for him not to appear. I feel like the guy needs more fleshing out. Do you think they'll give him a new job?

I'm not sure what kind job he should be assigned. I guess something to do with homes. Or maybe him and Isabelle will have a similar role and work together. I would love to see them together.

Maybe they gonna bring back the Happy Home Showcase in a changed version? If this would be the case,
then I guess he will work there again. Alternative, now that Isabelle will also have a different job, I could
imagine both working together now, maybe as helpers when you want to change things on your island or
something like that.

I'm honestly glad there's no more StreetPass.

I like the idea of him and Isabelle doing the same job. Let them swap who works days and nights like Pelly and Phyllis. Isabelle needs sleep.

I'm sad about the lack of Streetpass!! I missed out on playing NL when it was first really popular, so I never got many street passes. Even when I take my DS into the city, it's super rare for me to get any...like 2x a year. T.T
I don't understand why they aren't having streepass features in the switch.

But surely there will be a place for Digby <3

Well in happy home designer he was the person you went to to build new facilities. maybe he’ll do the same thing but on the island? but i heard isabelle would take care of facilities on the island so he might have a much minor role in new horizons which would be a shame. digby deserves some sort of job post

Perhaps he will pursue a different path or have another purpose? Not entirely sure what it'll be though.

Maybe he will work together with Resetti now since this guy also lost his job thanks to the auto save
feature (which is a shame tbh).

I literally never once used streetpass on the 3ds so I never got to talk to him or interact with him much.

I really hope they give Digby more of a purpose. He's too cute to never have need to speak to!

I really never used the street pass as well due to small town etc, but I do hope he comes back we have been confirmed that Isabelle is coming back so maybe he will too

Maybe it'll be like the ACCF happy home showcase where.. you know
