Do crafted items eventually get unlocked in HHP by building more homes?

I know Lottie said I can only build with items Ive already made, but Im seeing some items I didnt make unlocked, and some items I want to use still locked. So do I have to craft all the diys to use them?

I don't know about your first part (like if this is a known glitch or something) but for any DIY you supposedly have to craft anything at least once to be able to use it at HHP.

I do know the skate-board wall rack? is a diy but way before I got the card, I had to decorate someone's home where I was able to use furnish with it.

I thought this was so, but Im able to use glow in the dark stickers even though Ive never crafted them a day in my life. But the western style stone, which Ive also never made, I cant use..

I'm assuming that you're able to use all the items you've unlocked through HHP plus what you've crafted yourself?
So let's say creating a house for Kitty unlocks the duck decoy and the log stool, and making a house for Bob unlocks the deer decoration and the log bench. If you make Kitty a house but not Bob, you've got the duck decoy and the log stool regardless of if you've crafted it or not. If you've crafted the log bench as well in the main game that will be unlocked too. However, if you haven't crafted the deer decoration it won't be, because you didn't build Bob's house.
...does that make any sense?
