So I have a villager Quillson whom I'm trying to get rid of and I put him on a cliff far away from the other villagers and I don't have any inclines, however sometimes I find him in the plaza and I don't want him in the plaza talking to my other villagers, is there any way that I can prevent Quillson from doing this?

So from what I noticed villagers who are isolated on the upper levels of the island end up teleporting to the plaza/main level of the island, however if they're on the main level of the island they don't seem to teleport to the upper levels.
If you want to prevent him from teleporting I recommend moving his house far away from everyone else's on a lower level of your island, and make sure there aren't any bridges leading to the other parts of your island that he can cross. He'll be limited to that part of the island he's isolated on.
