Well, I definitely believe in spirituality and have had enough experiences with it myself to know it's real, but I'm not so sure about people who claim to be able to see spirits or communicate with them. It's not as simple as that for either party. Spiritual communication has been described before as being like swimming through jelly.

I don't trust the ones that get money by scamming people but I do believe that certain people have the ability to contact or get signals from spirits, they just choose to keep quiet about it.

They're just scam artists. Some are better than others depending on how well they can read people

i think theres definitely a possibility, but communication with beings from other realms can be difficult to understand, so psychics who give readings often misinterpret them and thus end up giving their clients wrong information. i have mystical experiences from time to time myself, as do other members of my family.. if we assume that this is real, i can do some spirit work, but idk i dont work on my skills actively so im not a master at it. i think you gotta be very experienced and talented to make a proper career, and there are a lot of con artists out there giving legitimate mediums a bad name.

Some. But certainly not the ones who just want money and spout generalized dribble that could apply to anyone. Like "do you have a dead relative, well they said they love you and they're in a better place now" like wow, that's so true but is also for like most people. There are people who do know things and are connected to the spiritual world and can easier communicate and stuff but it's few and far in-between as most who claim they can have no real proof.

My mother believes in psychics and she told me once that she used to go to a lady all the time until one day the psychic told her that spirits of the dead come to her asking for help often but she didn't have time to deal with all of them so she told them to go wait by the tree in her front yard. . . and from then on my mom was afraid of the tree and never went back!

I think they are real, but the likelihood of meeting one is probably 1 in 10 billion. The ones you see setting up shops and preying off gullible believers are obviously scam artists. The real ones usually keep their mouths shut, so people won't think they're freaks or liars.
