Do you do eBay bidding?

It's not worth bidding for most items. You'll often end up paying more than it would cost to just buy the item or not get it and just completely waste your time.

I've never lost an ebay auction lmao albeit I've only bid on 5 with gixen and I won all of them for a price I'm more happy to pay. (Much lower than msrp.) I really like ebay haha, I got ath m40x for 75 dollars shipped and that's important because shipping costs about 20 dollars where I live lol.

I usually just do Buy it Now purchases on eBay because most of the time a bid will have days left and I don't want to wait that long to possibly save a small amount of money.

Well I think I got a good deal because for the item I got I got all chargers and some accessories for a price cheaper than used models Best Buy and other stores of the like are offering. I guess as far as auctions go, I haven't lost yet since I've only done 1 lol.

Hahaha I won this one with gixen as well. It worked really well because someone tried to snipe me in the end but I set a max price about 10 dollars higher than they did, luckily.

I've bought a few things off eBay over the years. I think my first was a Webkinz that was retired or out of season, so not in store anymore. The price I paid for it was cheap, but shipping added up to essentially the same price I would've paid for it here...
The second item was supposed to be an iPod nano (the squareish ones, before they got taller and added many more colours) but it ended up being a fake, and we never got a refund when we tried to return it... I knew the bidding prices were too good to be true.

And my most recent purchase was a buy it now coffee maker from Turkey, which was a worthwhile buy for the cafe I co-manage with some other students.

Overall, I don't do a lot of eBay bidding, I'd rather pay buy it now prices, or purchase off amazon, or even the good ol' brick and mortar stores.

I've been using ebay for years but I really can't stand auctions. I tried my hand at sniping too but like people said, everyone has the same mindset now so it's really not worth it unless you're okay with potentially spending more than what it's worth. I still try to avoid auctions, they've always resulted in disappointment for me because I don't use any bidding tools.

As for just buying outright, I've gotten some really excellent deals that required a lot of searching, and I've never had a bad experience, thankfully. I'm a fairly savvy internet shopper now.

I tend not to bid for items on ebay, but I do buy older amiibo cards on there that I haven't been able to find yet or sell my doubles.

Was too weak for the sniping world. Farewell, Animals of Farthing Wood figurine book set ;3;

Yes, I've ordered a few things on there. Most were smaller items that costed $15 or less, but after the first couple of items I decided I needed a bass clarinet. Lol. (I could have just waited a few months until the local music store put them on consignment, but I had not made the connection that they would do that quite yet)

I found a number of them and narrowed down to one. I held the highest bid for quite some time. but when it came down to the last day or so it began to turn into a battle. In the end it was a hard-fought battle that I won in literally the last few seconds. It was a fierce battle, but nope, no one outbids a crazy woodwind lady in getting her desired woodwind. Lol.

Still I would not recommend bidding on such things unless you really know what you're doing. I was not playing it too smartly myself. But I came to find out that I actually got a pretty good deal. I once played with a bassoon player who got a nice bassoon off of eBay - the same model I played on - for a ridiculously cheap price... So sometimes these things do work out very well.

Woo bass clarinet! My church music director bought one for me to use and keep at home. I had it for years. I recently left that church, though, so gave it back (even though we had a new music director since then). One day I may get my own bass clarinet. One day. That's a bit more of an investment than an old model ipad, unfortunately haha.

Bass clarinet is amazing! I unfortunately never really got to learn it, because right when it came in was when I was "called" to learn and play the oboe. Very long story. Nevertheless, I have got to bring it into a number of elementary school classes and talk about the brass/woodwind instruments. Kids are always so amused by the lowest note, which sounds like like a ship's horn. lol I'm just impressed by the vibration. I've played the bassoon and contrabassoon, but for some reason that low note on the bass clarinet impressed me more. lol

I hope you get one someday! At the local music shop that puts instruments on consignment I saw one for $200 once. That sounds awful, but it's from a reputable store so I'm sure it was actually decent. Ebay gets decent deals, too, but you have to be careful, of course.

I understand. In middle school I was forced by my director to learn bassoon lol. $200 doesn't seem bad considering how much they can sell for.
