Do you expect New Horizons to show up in the likely September Direct?

Honestly I don't because I know there's gonna be an animal crossing focused direct sometime between January-March.

I feel like it will, due to it originally supposed to be realising in September and Nintendo thinking they owe fans something. I hope they show us some trailer for new features they may of added in the extended time they get, as well as some of the villagers! I sure hope they show us some sort of New Horizons Trailer!

Pretty much. We've had a trailer, we've had half an hour of gameplay, what more is there to say? It doesn't make sense to take up time with a game at this time of year people won't be able to buy for Christmas.

And yet they do, every single September Direct. It's not unheard of at all, as their autumn Directs always cover games that aren't launching until the new year.

And for anyone that does want to know whether Animal Crossing is featured or not, the contents of the Direct have already been leaked. So if you know where to look, I'm sure you can dig it up. I personally will not be looking for them.

That "leak" is sketchy imo, too many inconsistencies. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Nah. The focus will be on remaining 2019 games sure, but remember how last year's September Direct said the same thing and we got Luigis Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing?

There will be 2020 announcements/news. Whether New Horizons will get an update or not remains to be seen, but we'll get more announcements outside of 2019 for sure.

I would say March 4th/5th to be the Animal Crossing Direct, as its been a pattern that game related directs are soon after they're close to release.

They announced Animal Crossing New Horizons, a then 2019 title, at last September's Direct. Luigi's Mansion 3 too.

The 2017 Direct had Kirby Star Allies and Octopath Traveler, among other 2018 titles.

Never, ever take Direct descriptions literally.

New Leaf sold 13 million copies, outselling some mainline Pok?mon games. It's rubbing elbows with Nintendo's biggest and best.

I think that there?s a chance... maybe it?s a little early but the game sure has made a lot of hype and has been long awaited. Hopefully they will say something about it in the next direct. It?s possible.
