Do you have an accent?

I guess I would have a southern accent. It's weird to think about because you don't consciously think about having an accent for yourself. We tend to shorten a lot pronunciations of words. Like we will say 'my' like 'mah' or 'I' is said like 'Ah'.

Another guy with what sounded like a thick Southern American accent asked for "chew pallets".Was that some kind of chewing tobacco?Nope, turns out that he wanted "shoe polish".....don't know how that became chew pallets.Maybe he was a Cajun?
That sounds accurate that's how my grandpa would probably say that

I think its cool how everyone's tone of voice is completely unique... i love accents and have a little one from where im from but i used a british accent for many years for fun when i was a child.. so much so i forgot what my regular voice sounded like (i used an accent all through puberty) so then i had to make my own voice up for myself

A pretty average American accent... I used to speak fluent Spanish as a really young kid, but when I was around 3-4 I started speaking English.... now I can’t speak Spanish, although I understand it perfectly 😂 My spanish (I take Spanish class, it’s surprisingly easy) sounds terrible because of said accent lol

Haha! Everyone has an accent I think, obviously just sounds different or similar depending on the country you're from, the dialect you may speak in whatever region you hail from, or just simply how your family speaks wherever you may live.
I live in the Midwest so usually yes, I have THAT accent. Long and nasally a's and long o's, sort of Canadian if you will xD I don't mind it, sometimes people who hear my long "o" specifically in 'so' or 'no' will mention the drawn out vowel.
I don't have a thick mid-western accent, but definitely some sentences, phrases, specific words, and if I'm sick, will I showcase a thicker more noticeable accent.

I think that everyone has an accent for the most part haha However, I'm curious about what people would consider my "accent" to sound like 😆

From the system with the least vocal variations

I'd say we some very small bits of a southern accent based on some comments, but I think our base accent is probably just eastern American.

I just have that nasally, sick Midwestern accent xD

People make fun of it when I say certain words that are drawn out o's that sort of sound like I'm sick constantly.
It sometimes comes out when I am talking to other people with a similar accent, or not at all, sometimes I unconsciously let the accent slip and get pretty thick.

Other times actually, which is really annoying, I may accidentally take on the accent that the other person has that I'm talking to. Luckily, I can catch it, but it's so odd and annoying because I never mean to offend anyone (this has only happened like 3 times with people, one from California and the other two I think were from the east coast) I just subconsciously think of accents, how to replicate them, and end up voicing them.
