Yeah, I like them. It's one of those things that probably should have been in the game from the beginning, but at least it's here now for people just starting.
I did learn something new from it today. Apparently when your mailbox gets to 300, it starts auto-deleting old letters you don't have favorited. I always wondered how I was still getting mail when my mailbox was full.
I already know everything they say, but I still like having something to read and focus on while waiting for the game to load, especially because it seems to take forever nowadays.
Yeah I have them. Same some other comments where I don't necessarily need them, sometimes a black loading screen with a little itty bitty animated icon isn't too fun. Black loading screens sort of give me a small dose of anxiety, lol.
I have them on since I didn't know you could toggle it on or off and when I bought it I didn't know what it was lol. I was just going on a spending spree for all the new Nook mile stuff.
I'll probably just keep the stuff on anyway. I did notice the island icon had fish jumping on it during the load. I never noticed that before.
I have the tips turned on, but so far I haven't really been reading any of them. I am way too much in the habit of just ignoring my switch during the loading time that I keep forgetting to check out what the tips actually say.
i've got them turned off, i quite like the black loading screen with the island tree in the corner ! maybe it's just as it's a smaller screen or something, but i can turn them back on if i wanted to heh
So the tips are on the loading screen huh?
Can somebody explain if these are the same tips you get on the new Island Life App? (at least the trailer made me think it was an app—like one where you get messages from Nook and/or Isabelle)
I had them on originally, but I turned them off. Since I've been playing for so long I know a lot of the information already.
While I do agree they add some really nice personality and make loading screens less of a blank stare off, I find that I usually just look at something else while I wait and look back when its done.
I would totally reccomend it to newer players as well as people who play it while relaxing in bed or sitting alone somewhere while playing.
I thought they were all going to be relevant to the update/DLC, but a lot of them are general. I dont need them, and I didn't know we could turn them off, but I'll probably leave them on!
I have them on because there's the odd time I actually learn something. Like yesterday, I learned that I can repeatedly press A while crafting to make it faster - I had never seen that mentioned anywhere before. They also have tips for HHP and the new content, which might turn out useful if I miss something.
