Do you like root beer?

Snowesque's thread about the taste of Coca-Cola reminded me of something: that apparently, root beer is considered a sort of controversial flavour! I've been drinking it most of my life and I adore it, but I learned within the past few years that apparently a lot of people think it's awful. So I wanted to ask: do you like root beer?

Seriously thou, I thought it would be meh but I find it pretty gross.

I was never a huge fan of root beer as a drink. I can somewhat tolerate it, but I don't enjoy drinking it. For whatever reason though, I really like those A&W root beer lollipops. I still sometimes get them today.

Nope. I tried to taste it but regretted it right after. I guess it's just not for me.

Sorta like MapleSilver, I guess. I love root beer candy but I can't tolerate root beer itself...except root beer floats. But even with root beer floats, the ratio of ice cream to root beer has to be about 3:1.

I like it and will drink it sometime, it’s not my favorite but I think it’s good. Seems to be an uncommon opinion though

It is fine, it is mainly my last soda choice as it is extremely sweet and typically not caffeinated.
It can be quite refreshing at times.

Honestly I think root beer is one of those things most people either really love or really hate.
My boyfriend's little brother loves root beer, but I'm not really that into it... root beer floats are okay though.

I really don't drink it. I remember trying it as a kid and I wasn't crazy about it. I wouldn't say I hate it, but at the same time I wouldn't drink it unless it was my only option.

I have a horrible experience with root beer as well! When i was little i was really sick and i took a drink of root beer and immediately threw it back up! That **** was so nasty, dog! I did that with grape soda as well :,^) I cant drink either now without remembering the horribly sweet vom that ensued

I don’t really remember the last time I had a Root beer but route beer floats are pretty good

It’s one of those things I like but never have, so I voted meh. Why get root beer from a place when there’s so many other soda options available?

I use to love it when I was little, but now it tastes really syrupy and artificial so
but I don't hate it
