Do you like slime?

Is that still trending? I wasn't into it when the popularity was booming amongst kids in the recent years.
When I was a kid, I liked sensory toys like play-doh or silly putty as it helped ease my anxiety. I also made slime for my class in 5th grade.
In highschool, gradually moved away from slime and got fixated on these:
Which are these cheap japanese scented kneading erasers.
Now though? I'm still fascinated by the toys where they're encapsulated in goo but I wouldn't go out my way to buy them.

I keep reading this thread title as "Do you like anime," but to answer the question in the OP. I have no idea. But I saw this commercial on Facebook yesterday that advertised this like sticky slime stuff you could roll around in your car to clean up the crumbs and stuff. But what cleans up the sticky slime ball? I mean, do you just keep buying slime balls to clean the previous slime ball? Almost seems like a Ponzi scheme. Like Bitcoins, except instead of useless digital currency you're left with a sticky ball of slime that graham cracker dust in it.
This question was never answered in the advertisement. Perhaps it is machine washable, or you're supposed to take it out and rinse it off with the garden hose..... don't use it in winter

Honestly I kind of want to get some and start a real life Katamari Damacy game. Roll it on the floors once a day all around the house and watch it grow in size. When I'm famous, people will pay for it in small sections.

I had it once as a kid...and we're talking about the OG 'Nickelodeon' brand slime that was sold back in the 90's ("Gak", I think it was called). I got it stuck to the living room carpet and we had to throw the whole thing out. I never had any after that. Lol. As for the modern trend of youtubers making slime and stuff...it baffles me. The world is a strange place.
Ugh, I had forgotten how truly disgusting my Gak was by the time I threw it out. Hair, pine needles, and I'm afraid of what else...
It would probably end up being a disgusting ball of hair dirt and pennies

I loved it when I was a kid, but now, I don't care one way or another. If it's there, I'll play with it, but I don't feel the need to seek it out at all. Usually, I forget slime exists until some random video shows up on my feed or gets recommended to me and it autoplays. But I understand the appeal. It's like a stress ball, except it usually comes in pretty colours and such. Hehe

depends on the type of slime
i buy slimes from etsy that are hand crafted, theyre usually way higher quality than store bought. i like fluffy, fishbowl, and fake snow slimes. im not a huge fan of the traditional slimes (think flarp) which are jiggly slimes. i hate wet slimes because i dont like it to get all over my hands

im autistic so textures are really important to me, but i love slime!!! it's so fun to squish and poke (tho i hate videos of people with long nails poking slime especially against a table, i h a t e that noise). my favorites are the crunchy kind!!!

I had some slime as a kid but iirc the texture was different (runnier/looser/thinner?) than what I imagine most slimes are like today. I haven’t tried any other slimes but I’d love to! I had a phase when I was like 15 where I’d watch snoopslimes and other similar accounts on instagram and daydreamed about making my own.
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my god YEAH i do. it makes me feel immature but i adore it. i have floam-y like stuff and then some other slime with just like little cubes in it that smells like watermelon candy. its amazing and i love it.

I love slime. It’s so much fun to play with and I love all the different textures you can make. My favorites are cloud slime, jelly cube, and butter slimes.
Honestly it’s a guilty pleasure for me…… I love watching videos of slime makers showcasing their puffy/cloudy/soft slime and I would really love to have a collection of different textures someday. Idk they’re stress-relievers for me even though I feel a little embarrassed about it.
