I dont like my first name and i did change it since i have 3 names, i choose my middle name because my first name is more for a red haired boy with freckles (no offence)... >_>
It's all my moms doing, she likes the name she gave me, i can just cry every time i hear that name, and my family still calls me by my first name, the rest call me by my second name.

I started going by Tina at 18. Anytime I even consider legally changing it my mother gets moody with me and goes on a tangent that always includes the line, "Oh I'm sorry for giving you a name you hate."

I totally understand how you feel, hopefully you can legally change your name to Tina or any other name you feel comfortable with, no matter what anyone else says. :)

I'd love to change my name (first and last), but my parents would literally disown me. I still might do it.

i have already changed my name so no i don't want to change it bc i like my name now.

Nicely! :D

Parents can be so cruel, i mean there are people who call their son Dick. =l
As one of victims of terrible names i think it should be a right to be able to change names.

My first name is fine but literally no one has ever pronounced my last name correctly except for my family or people who I've corrected multiple times.

I want to change my name to my second name. I think it's really pretty and cool, but whenever I've tried to change it, it never sticks, and then it just gets awkward. Lol

I used to want to change my name, first and last. Luckily for me I got married and legally changed my last name, but I kinda like my first name now so I don't think I'll ever change it.

Mine's really short and plain but I wouldn't say that I don't like it to the point of wanting to change it.

My first name is Alan and while I don't hate it, my stutter has always made it difficult for me to say since it starts with a vowel :/

My name is Michael.

Seems okay, but I feel like I hate it sometimes.

oh darn i feel you, when i was a kid i found it difficult to pronounce my birth name correctly so when i had to introduce myself i struggled a lot and people often thought i was called something else ): also because of how it is pronounced people (mostly other kids) would constantly misspell it ;_;

Eh, mine's a pretty common "american" name: Brooke. I used to want it to be my middle name, Sierra, because it sounded way more unique - but after growing up and hearing my name a lot I learned to love it :D

I like my name as it's pretty unique (Xandra) and it has a pretty cool meaning (defender of mankind) but it bothers me that every single person I meet does not have a single clue on how to pronounce it. Is it that hard?! It's just Sandra! And as for my last name, oh boy that is 100 times worse i don't think that anyone has been able to pronounce it right the first, or second (or even 500th!) time they say it. (Actually, i think it's probably because it is a Spanish last name, but not even others who know how to speak spanish can pronounce it lol), but still not even)As for my middle name, it's pretty common but just spelled another way. The pronunciation it the same.
