Do you like your name? Would you want to change it?

I dont like my first name and i did change it since i have 3 names, i choose my middle name because my first name is more for a red haired boy with freckles (no offence)... >_>
It's all my moms doing, she likes the name she gave me, i can just cry every time i hear that name, and my family still calls me by my first name, the rest call me by my second name.

I totally understand how you feel, hopefully you can legally change your name to Tina or any other name you feel comfortable with, no matter what anyone else says.

As one of victims of terrible names i think it should be a right to be able to change names.

oh darn i feel you, when i was a kid i found it difficult to pronounce my birth name correctly so when i had to introduce myself i struggled a lot and people often thought i was called something else ): also because of how it is pronounced people (mostly other kids) would constantly misspell it ;_;

Eh, mine's a pretty common "american" name: Brooke. I used to want it to be my middle name, Sierra, because it sounded way more unique - but after growing up and hearing my name a lot I learned to love it

I like my name as it's pretty unique (Xandra) and it has a pretty cool meaning (defender of mankind) but it bothers me that every single person I meet does not have a single clue on how to pronounce it. Is it that hard?! It's just Sandra! And as for my last name, oh boy that is 100 times worse i don't think that anyone has been able to pronounce it right the first, or second (or even 500th!) time they say it. (Actually, i think it's probably because it is a Spanish last name, but not even others who know how to speak spanish can pronounce it lol), but still not even)As for my middle name, it's pretty common but just spelled another way. The pronunciation it the same.
