my name is french for "beloved" and i think that's pretty neat :)

My name is Lily, like the flower! (I say this to 70% of the people I meet for the first time haha)...

When I was young, I was a bit of a tom boy and I felt that my name was too girly for me. I hated it. I wanted to have names that weren't from a flower. But as I grew up, matured and got compliments on my name (lol), I began to accept, embrace, and love my name.

I absolutely love my name. It sounds beautiful and I wouldn't want my name to be anything else. :D

Well, Lily's an awesome name I wouldn't mind it. I just wish my parents put better thought into my rl name, also I hate the sound of my RL name so whenever people call it out I'm just.. uh nty. I do have a few nicknames derived from it that are aight tho lol

That’s nice. Mine is French for “a portion of food cut into short, thin strips” lmao. Regardless, I like my name (Julienne). But unless it’s my family, professional acquaintances, or people I have just introduced myself to, I’ll usually go by my nickname Jules.

I like my first name but I don't like that it's super common. I always have to add my last initial into my name just because there are multiple people with that name wherever I go. My middle name is Vanessa which is what I go by online because I love it, and sometimes I wish I could have everyone irl call me that but they already all know me by my first name so it would be too complicated to switch.

My name's Catherine. I like it even though it's fairly common. But I really hate my middle name (Amy) because it doesn't have anything to do with my family or mean anything. It's just the name my older sister wanted me to have!

my name is so common, I don't really like it so I go by a shortened version of it. my immediate family and close friends will call me it. if they use my full first name, I feel like I'm in trouble or I'll be like who are you talking about? oh me... for a long time I wanted to change my name so I actually just go by my username or gamertag, jiroutachi and my friends call me jirou instead. it's gotten to the point where I feel like that suits me and it is a part of my identity than my actual legal name.

Yeah, it grew on me. It's somewhat specific to my country, but it's also cool to not have a common name many people around you will have as well - especially online. Apparently my name means "gracious" which is pretty boring though.

If you haven't guessed by my username, my name is Jack and I don't mind my name. I have always loved the names, William and Xavier. I also think that Phoenix is such a modern and cool sounding name when Jack is just kinda boring. I don't hate my name though I just think that it is not that unique and very common.

My name's Ruth. I don't have any problem with it. I have an Auntie who's also called Ruth.

my name is oliver and i guess i like it, i used to really like it but atm i'm really feeling like not existing at all so it's difficult to identify with anything related to myself including my name lol. i chose it because it's nice, it works in both english and swedish and is fairly common. it's a bit more common than i realized, i have another oliver in most of my classes and it's confusing sometimes.

Yes, although it is commonly mispronounced as a feminine name that can be spelt kind of similar which can be grating sometimes (although super recently that's been happening less!) and I get "Oh! Such a religious name!" so often, and it's just a weird comment for me because I'm not religious myself, but I honestly love my name.

my name is incredibly common and i’ve always hated it for that reason. i also feel that it doesn’t suit me at all

My birth name is Blue... you can assume I hate it for various reasons. The jokes about feeling/looking “blue” and the Pok?mon jokes as a kid.. it can get tiring.. *sigh* and the fact no one ever believes it’s my real name.. and then legal trouble.. it’s a cool name, really! but it could have at least been indigo or something.. I legally had it changed this year so I could get my passport without issues lol

I like my name. I have nothing against it as it's my own identity. Plus, my name is not all that common so it doesn't drive me insane. Speaking of names, it feels really weird when you say your own name out loud.

First name is Marissa

Not too common, and not too rare...but HOOO MAN did people really spell it wrong when I was little, it's almost like they were messing with me. Marisa, Marrisa, never anything with two S's until I got older. And yeah, people do call me Melissa a lot but probably because that name is more common.

I still like my name tho despite the trip ups lol.

I'm indifferent about it.
