I occasionally give my Pok?mon nicknames, I have an Arcanine named Gabriella, a shiny smeargle named Pierre or ruby (I can?t remember tbh all I know is that it took me forever to hunt for and catch it), a talonflame named firefighter, and a few others with nicknames like gummy for any goomys I catch. I usually nickname any shinies I find depending on if I was hunting it or if it is a common or not (like wingull ditto or spinda for x/y I have a bunch of those)
