I honestly never play docked unless I need the motion controls or if my boyfriend wants to play a game with me. I've always preferred handheld consoles anyway so that probably contributes to it.

depends what I'm playing. if I'm playing Mario Kart I prefer docked cause I like the big screen but stardew valley I like handheld cause the small numbers are a bit hard for me to read from far away

I play both and prefer some games docked, but I mostly play mine handheld.

i always try and play docked because i don't like the short joystick on the joycon

I play docked when I'm at home, because big screen, motion controls and multiplayer all work better. but it wouldn't be called the switch if I weren't supposed to switch between them from time to time :)

Didn't vote because I play both, when I'm at home I normally play docked unless it's late and I want to play in bed. When I go anywhere and I know I'll have some free time then I always take my Nintendo Switch with me to play in handheld mode. So it really depends on the situation but I'd say I prefer playing docked because at home my internet is very good (when I'm somewhere else there's either no or very bad internet) and I have all my accessories near me such as my Pro controllers. Also I like the small graphical/performance upgrades when playing docked (ex. Super Mario Odyssey and the Bayonetta games).

Always docked. I treat the Switch as a home console lol. The only time I brought it outside was when I used to play Doom (pre-patch). It has this weird sound bug that scares the sh** out of me playing it docked and with surround sound on so I opted to just continue playing it on a handheld. But that was before, so right now, I play docked all the time.

Mostly mine Handheld, like I did with my Wii U. I just don't like what my family is watching me do on what I play.

I play with the Switch docked about 95% of the time, since I prefer playing games on a TV screen. But I do enjoy playing in handheld mode for a quick Picross S puzzle here and there.

I play and like both docked and handheld, but voted for handheld because I’ve played handheld way more lately. I enjoy playing on the big screen, but haven’t had much time to sit down in front of the TV and play lately. So I’ve been playing a few Picross S Puzzles or a day or two of Stardew Valley handheld in bed before I go to sleep.

both, it depends! when the tv's free i'll play it docked, but if not i play handheld. also, i've found mario kart online sucks complete ass in the room where it's docked, so if i have too many connection issues i'll take it handheld to my room. it also depends on the game. mario kart i'm good either way but odyssey it's way better to have it docked so i can use motion controls

I'll do docked for Mario Odyssey but handheld for Splatoon. I don't have very many games for it yet.

i have a tv screen in my room so i mostly just play it docked lol. im not too fond of handheld or tabletop mode tbh
