I never share a drink with anyone. Maybe I’ll make an exception for my girlfriend if she asks but aside from her, no. It just makes me feel really uneasy and then nauseous when I think about drinking from the same glass.
If somebody is in desperate need of a drink and for some reason I’m the only one with something I’ll give it to them - but then it’s theirs to keep. I won’t take the glass or bottle back after they’ve had some.
Luckily my friends and everybody for the most part have been super understanding about it! Sometimes I’ll get weird looks or people will complain about me not sharing (If we go out to eat and they “just want to try” my drink because we’ve gotten something different for example) but nobody’s ever taken a sip from my glass to be funny or anything.
Use to if I knew the person.
Not anymore. Viruses are things we honestly don't know as much about as we like to think. Not everything has been discovered or known fully about. Esp with mutation being easy and quick. Some viruses are a long term thing. It's best for everyone to have thier own drinks.
This was my thinking before the pandemic...
I will sometimes with my spouse and sometimes even then i dont just because.
Big no no with this one. I never share anything my mouth goes on. COVID or not.
Whenever someone asked me if they could drink in my bottle because they need it, I'd just give it to them because I'd never touch that bottle ever again.
Even with my partner for some reason.
