I share my name with the peppy/uchi bear Paula, I've never had her in my town so not sure if I like her but based on appearance she seems a bit uggo (sorry bear Paula!)
Do any of you guys share your name/nickname with a villager? What is your opinion of them?
My name is Victoria. I've never had her in my town, but she's cute. I like horses and peppy villagers. Technically, I also share my name with Vic the cranky bull. I've had him in my town, and I think he's great.
I do not share my name with any of the villagers. There is one villager whose name has some similarities to mine, but that's it. It's not an exact match or even a nickname or alternate version of my name. So, I'd have to say no.

Drift in the french version of the game is named Gordon.

I don't share names with any of the villagers' names in the English version, but apparently Tammy and Vivian's names are Vanessa in other languages! Pretty interesting actually as I never knew until I googled it I look both of then a lot actually. Tammy is one of my favourite looking uchi's and I love wolf villagers!
I share my name with Benjamin. There are a lot of ugly villagers in the game, but for most of them, they at least don't look like a horrible train wreck. But for Benjamin... I've tried, and I can't find a single redeeming feature about him. He is an abomination to me in every way possible.
However, Tank shares my name in French and I like him, Walker shares my name in Japanese and I love him, and Bam shares my name in German and he'd be in the running to be my all-time favourite if only he had the same name in English. I'd be happy with any of those three sharing my name, but nope, I get that disgusting dog.
Samson is close enough (Sam). I believe he was briefly in my village in Wild World. Nothing against him, just not a villager I prefer in my village. I?m definitely more laid back and fit more of the ?lazy? profile. With that said, I like to relate to my town folk.
I wasn't think of this when I typed my first post on this thread, but there is a villager who has my middle name as their name -- Leigh I don't really know what to think of her as she is one of those "forgotten" villagers, but she seems cute enough.
Not in the English version but according to the ac wiki, in the South Korean version of AC i share my name with Diana (her name in that ver is Natalie and thats my name!)

you're the second vanessa i've met on these forums and i'm a bit shook because i have yet to meet anyone with this name irl. and you seem to like purple too i'm deceased.
vivian is pretty cool i like her style but i don't think i'd ever have her in my town, and tammy i'm on the fence about bc she's cute but i mildly dislike it when villagers have a "hairstyle" on their design. it's different with horses because they have manes and stuff but like. the ducks are really plagued with this character design and i have to say it is not the best.
Yes, but technically no. My name is Kaitlyn, but the character Kaitlin spells her name differently. I've never had an interaction with her though, so I can't say whether I like her or not
