I almost reset a while back, but I've just decided that if I ever want to I'll level my island and terraform it from scratch. It's a lot of the fresh feeling without losing all the progress!

I honestly have a really hard time resetting. With my New Leaf town I reset once and I was stressed about it the whole time. In the end I was happy with my decision but I can't see myself doing that with New Horizons because the reasons I reset my New Leaf town don't apply here. I can change my eyes and nose whenever I want, I can move my house, I can destroy rocks and ponds that are in my way, etc. It doesn't feel worth it (to me) to have to go through the beginning of the game again and start from scratch. The only reason I could maybe see myself restarting would be for certain Nook Mile Variants if I was never able to play online and get them via trades.
I wish that I was able to buy a second copy of the game because I do think it might be fun to have two islands but I don't want to lose my current one. There are certain things I would do differently if I could but nothing is such a huge deal breaker that I think it's worth resetting and losing the progress I've made.

Still on the same island as when I started, so yes! I couldn't imagine resetting especially at this stage, I've progressed so much and I would HATE to have to do everything all over again. Plus, I like my island in its' current state as well as the villagers and the memories I have attached to it. The only thing I don't like is the name my brother put for it, but it's not worth losing all my progress for imo

My first island is my main island and base island.
I did a catalog from my first island. I use it to support additional islands. Right now, I have two islands. The second island is temporary. When it is set, I establish its Dream Address and, afterward, reset that island for a new creation.
This is made possible thanks to my main island.

Still the same island although I have considered restarting multiple times but the thought of getting a completed museum, diy, and catalog is very overwhelming so I haven't.

Nope I restart a lot KawaiiCove is my newest island which I’m gonna hopefully keep lol
