Do you take your phone with you into the bathroom?

I've never jumped aboard the smartphone train yet, only really bothering to get cheap flip phones, though with every passing year the temptation to finally get a smartphone is stronger and I'll probably end up with one sooner or later. So, with that said, there's no real reason or incentive to use the phone in the bathroom, and I don't.

Even if/when I eventually get a smartphone, I more than likely won't. I don't bring any other electronics like DS/3DS or the tablet in the bathroom either. Not only does it seem unhygienic, I wouldn't want to risk anything happening to any of these things. I also don't really feel a need or urge to utilize technology all the time and like to disengage from the stimuli.
looks like your dark peach took a phone to the bathroom one too many times lol. jk

Smartphones are more of a curse than a blessing today, when they first came out its was fine and great because they were cool and useful. During the days of angry birds first release and stuff. IOS apps on iphone and ipod touch for pure visual effects were da bomb, like where you touch the screen and sparks and streams do wild stuff in patterns.

I think ud be happy without a smart phone, or otherwise, return to the landline sort of days and just leave the thing at home hanging on a wall if you get one, even then id argue you get a tablet or something not a phone. I want to get rid of mine and go back to a simple phone, flip phone razor or something.

Also, I bring the dang thing every time i go to the bathroom. Unhygienic thoughts have crossed my mind. I have so much stimuli going thru me I am desensitized, I regularly make efforts to conform away from that while it happens all over again, i think I may want an unrealistic change thru my actions.. That my worry about it is overbearing upon myself

*edit- I was infact on the computer at the time of this writing xD

It really depends personally. If I've got it in my hand I tend to at least slip it into my pocket but if it's sitting on a table I don't always bring it with me. I do play music when I shower sometimes and sometimes I play a timer video on YT to help me keep on track in the shower but not every time. I'd say probably most of the time yes, but sometimes I don't and more often than not I'm not actually using it.

No, I generally find it unsanitary and the bathroom is pretty wet usually. I don't need that for what I'm doing in there anyhow.

If you include hiding in the bathroom to text or call a friend to rant, then yes. Otherwise, I can wait until I leave the bathroom as it's very unclean.

Usually no. I don’t want to become the way a lot of teens are where they can’t breathe if they don’t have their phone within a radius of them at all times, so I usually don’t bring it in the bathroom. I do bring it into the bathroom sometimes, but that’s just for checking the time to know when to leave when I’m using the bathroom in the morning since the bathroom clock doesn’t work, and even then I only bring it in occasionally. I never actually use it or watch videos in the bathroom because I don’t care that most phones probably have more germs on them than anything in a bathroom, it’s just gross to me. Maybe I’m just a germaphobe but whatever, don’t care. Plus my attention span isn’t that bad, I can totally just do nothing for a few minutes. I’m fine just leaving it in my room.

Edit: oh yeah, I forgot, I do bring my phone into the bathroom at school/public settings, but I feel like that’s more understandable because who wouldn’t do that?

Yes, because I'm constantly listening to music. Even in my sleep I can still sometimes hear my favorites and wake up randomly humming 😴🎶 but I never use my phone in a public bathroom, mainly because I've stopped going to public bathrooms, unless it's to wash my hands.

I also don't use my phone in other people's bathrooms if I happen to be visiting. I only ever jam out in my own bathroom, especially while showering. I mellow out so much that an hour could easily go by and I'm still in the bathroom.

Yes. Its the new magazine. I look on my phone when I need to check something at home. However, I do not when I go to public bathrooms, if I am forced to in such situations.

I'll answer literally as my restrooms are separated from my bathroom, and yes I do take my phone in my bathroom to listen to music. I won't answer regarding the restroom though. 😆
