Do you think perfect fruit will make a return in ACNH? Do you want them back?

I don’t think so, although I’m not sure why they had to cut them. They aren’t necessary, but they added to the look of an island. So did the tropical fruits..

I wish they would, but highly doubt they will. I loved the local fruit being special and having a special version of friends from other towns! Now you can very easily get each of the fruits and it feels like there isn't anything special about them.
I also wish we would get lemons, lychee and grapes in NH!

Yeah the Perfect fruit was the best because when you sell them they sell for a lot of bells. They were rare so whenever I saw one in new I had to shake it and then plant them so I can get 3 version of the perfect fruit to sell and make some bells. If I wanted see it return well sure we need more variety of fruit on this game.

While I don't think that the perfect fruit will come back simply due to the fact that Nintendo stated they're basically done with updates, I do wish they would've brought them back in this game and will be rooting for their return in future installments of the Animal Crossing series. It certainly was nice to show everyone what your native fruit is in a unique way and I'm not entirely sure why they would remove this feature from the game, since it's so simple and wouldn't take long to incorporate at all. Who knows though and better luck in the future for perfect fruit!

I liked decorating with them inside of my house, and around the island, but I'm not sure they're coming back. I'm happy enough with all the new fruit tarts and pies that I don't miss them that much, personally. ^^;

So far Nintendo has been releasing patch updates to fix bugs and glitches. So I guess when they said they would focus on "Small updates" they meant fixing the game even though they are done with the content.

Japan's a country with few natural resources and very little land devoted to agriculture so they're really into the whole 'premium' fruit thing. I'm guessing that's where the general idea of it came from. I really wish they'd brought it back. Not only did it make the fruit look extra delicious, but it would also help push the whole tourism vs. nativism theme of my island. Oh well. Not every feature from NL had to make it into NH. It seems such a basic feature that if it was added in, it would be basegame since it would have the most utility towards the start of the game.

That said, I have no idea why they didn't add in single crop/fruit baskets back in. I know it was just a way to stack items in the previous game (16 pocket slots lol), but they looked SO cute. My dream features would be the return of perfect fruit, color variations for basic fruit, and those darned baskets. A crow can dream...

No, at this point no more content is being added to NH so it won't be back (as others have said already), but even then it's a feature that I feel like would've needed to have been included from the very beginning in order for it to ever be in the game. Still, it's a feature I never cared that much about, so I have no problem with it not being in the game, lol.

In my heart, yes, yes I want perfect fruit to return. Giving a villager a gift of perfect fruit would've been great in maximizing friendship for photos. I doubt that perfect fruit will return though. It was such a nice feature in NL. I mostly wanted them for the dead trees, but now that theres a dead tree diy I highly doubt they will be making a return in this game.

unfortunately, i don’t see them making a return in this game as it seems 2.0 is the last content update we’ll be getting, but i was really rooting for them to come back! they were super gorgeous, and i’d love to have perfect peach trees all over my island aha. plus, like already mentioned, the dead trees you’d be left with after harvesting perfect fruit from them a certain number of times would be great to have back for landscaping purposes! :’)

While it’s nice to have another design for the fruit, I don’t like being limited to only one of those extra looks. Doesn’t help that some fruit have (in my opinion) objectively nicer perfect versions, which are then inaccessible to anyone who started with a different one.

What I would maybe welcome is a way to breed native trees into having perfect fruit, that can then be shared and planted on all islands. Like, you can only breed and create the special version of your own native fruit, but everyone can ultimately have all versions after trading. The special element would still remain, but be less exclusive.

oh the breeding idea is so cute!! that would be a great way to implement it to acnh!

I don't think it will make a return, but I wish it would. The perfect fruit is so exciting when you see it randomly! And it's so pretty!

Hmm, can't see it happening since Nintendo is literally giving up on ACNH now.

I don't see the hype around perfect fruits personally. I didn't really care for them too much back in New Leaf, so it doesn't upset me too much that they didn't return.

I would however have loved to see the lemon and persimmon fruits make a comeback, I'm sad about that.

I don’t think they will, but I miss the perfect fruit so much! I had perfect pears in both of my NL towns, and I worked really hard to make it my whole town’s only fruit trees. I loved the perfect pears because they were the prettiest copper colors and it would look great in every season.
