Do you think we'll ever get new tree or plant types?

Do you think they'd add new trees and flowers? Maybe even more than that. I think if Leif opened a shop then it could be a possibility, but the one thing that seems to give it away is the museum.

If there's a model for this tree already in the game, then why can't we add it to our islands? They don't look much different to the other trees but I do like the design of the leaves on them.

What do you think? There's nothing in the datamine for new trees or flowers but I think there were new bushes found.

I would love for them to add more trees. The one in the museum is really nice. I would love the lemons bananas and mangoes to come back.As for flowers it would be nice to have purple and blue lilies and blue tulips. Hopefully in future updates we can get more trees and flowers.

I believe a plumeria shrub was datamined, so I do hope that means new foliage is on the horizons. I’d at least love to see violets and carnations make a come back at some point.

I still wonder why they took out carnations and violets. Shame since the blue violets were so nice.

The blue violets were definitely one of my favorites in NL. A shame they didn’t get carried over to NH from the beginning. I love the new additions of mums and hyacinth, but that shouldn’t mean we should lose two older breeds.

Here’s to hoping they come back though. Violets would pair very nicely with the hyacinths I think.

The one in the museum looks a little too similar to what we have now. If we get a tree, I'd love for it to be entirely new looking. Maybe willow or birch

Those are so beautiful! They have so many trees as furniture items in Pocket Camp like ginkos but even if we never got those, I'd love to have the missing fruit from New Leaf back and PERFECT FRUIT! That way we can get rotted trees again.

I would love more trees. Right now I have mainly regular trees and barely any bamboo and cedar. I don’t love how they look, but my island looks too bland without variation so I throw them here and there. Would love something new to experiment with.

I really liked the violets.

Not a fan of the NH flowers and the way roses look now.

Hyacinths and weeds are about the only flora I like in NH.

i hope so! going off of what you said, leif having his own garden shop or even just a gardening section in nook’s cranny again would be a great opportunity to introduce some new foliage!! the possibilities are honestly endless but i definitely wouldn’t be opposed to some clematis plants! c’:

I'm desperate for new fruits (and perfect), flowers and flower pots. Even a type of bush that blooms at the same time as the sakuras would be nice.

It would be great for Leif to either have his own shop or included with nook’s cranny. Maybe he can sell the houseplants we are missing.

There's a possibility that we could have a future update which includes the addition of new trees and bushes so that we can decorate our island with various types of trees/bushes. I would like to see never before seen kinds of trees such as weeping trees or any other tree that isn't included in the game. Here's hoping that there will be an Animal Crossing-related Direct that'll discuss about new types of bushes and trees being added into the game! Who knows...perhaps Nook's Cranny might consider having a second floor for Leif to sell even more stuff besides the same flowers and bushes that he sells on the island?

I also can imagine the tropical fruits will make a return! But I don't think we'll get a complete new species of tree.

Not sure about new trees, but I can see them adding new flowers/shrubs/fruit eventually. I think at sooome point they’ll introduce new islands, and those will have the new flora you can get and bring back to your island.

I'm hoping that violets and carnations make a return, as well as the other NL fruits. It's a little odd that lillies got carried over, but not violets. Would love to see new bushes and trees, too, as I kind of fell in love with the yellow ginkgo trees from PC.

I'd love to see some new bush types! although at a minimum I'd at least like to get some of the flowers and fruits back from NL that didn't get carried over

I doubt they’d add new trees to the staple trio, but I could see them adding more flower varieties or other greenery in future seasonal updates. I’d love to have lily pads in my ponds and in rivers near waterfalls.
