I do get your point, but when has Nintendo done a lot of things new to this game? Seeing as how no one has eight legitimate different players on one island, I think it’s not a leap that they’d free those up, especially since a lot of the playing metrics for this game indicate the devs underestimated how much focus there would be from players on securing specific villagers and keeping them. Perhaps they will do nothing to address it, I have no idea. I’m just saying there would be a comparatively easy way to incorporate it within their own existing game perimeters. These plots are for user profiles. I don't see any reason why Nintendo would be compelled to convert those for villagers. When has Nintendo increased the number of villagers during a game's life, though? I'm not recalling?
C'mon, Nintendo, there are around 400 vilagers, don't make us chose just 10.
But see that’s the thing... Nintendo doesn’t want you to necessarily keep the same 10. That’s why the have mechanics that encourage you to let villagers move out. That’s another reason to me why they wouldn’t have any drive to increase the number.
