Do you want more information before release?

I want to know honestly how amiibo works and how cloud saves will work with people that have NSO works (how often can you do it?)

Rumors are swirling that there will be an AC-specific Direct on Thursday. Timing makes sense as it'll be exactly one month out. However, it is only a rumor.

Not really. I've already redeemed a voucher and preloaded so it's not like my opinion can be swayed now. I'm all in no matter what.

I would be fine without it.
I have not had it in mind as of late, too many other things needing taken care of haha.

I am fine with no news. I just want the game to come out :) I already preloaded it and I am just waiting for the 20th march.

I'd love to see just one more big Animal Crossing exclusive Direct, similar to what we got before New Leaf. Lots of new info and reveals, while not spoiling everything there is to look forward to!

My game is already preordered and ready on my switch for when it goes live. I am fine not having any more info, part of me wants to know nothing and discover all the things on my own, but I know if any more info comes out I won't be able to NOT look lol

I just want to know about map selection and villager limit. Dear lord I would die if they finally let us make our own maps.

I wouldn't mind more info, but I definitely don't need it. I am already buying the game. So they can't change my decision. All they will do is spoil some of the surprise.

Only 1 month away.

See, my issue with the lack of info is that we know nothing about AC staples yet.

Like, will there be stores? Do we have to build them or will they be avaiable on start? Will there be PWP? will there be new hollidays? (especially since this game will be in Dutch now.. Argh.; so will there be Dutch specific hollidays?) How will we start? Can we costumise our character immediatly? Can we get Shampoodles and able sisters immediatly? Will we get music immediatly?

You see, I loved AC for it being a village in a forest where everything is relaxed, you can do whatever. I mean, I love New Leaf but the PWP and mayor part made it more like a building sim than a real life sim. If we have to create the ENTIRE village itself it might lose its charm for me..

Oh gosh.. the wait for more Dutch translated text hurts. I hope it isnt tooo sappy or cringe

If there is a direct coming soon, I’m still undecided on whether or not I’ll watch it. I do want to know more, but I also find it fun to go into a game without knowing much about it.

By now, if we don't find out anything more I'd probably be content with it. It's almost a month until it gets released, I can live without more information for that long. I do find it slightly concerning that next to nothing has been said though. Nintendo knows how much we've wanted this, why share nothing and upset everyone intead of doing at least one dedicated direct?

Here's what I want to know.

- Is autosave optional.
- Do we have to grind for essences like PC.
- Will there be an energy system.
- Will there be those horrid PC friendship levels.
- What exactly can we do besides grind for crafting material.
- Can we time travel the same way we did in previous games.
- Are the previous furniture sets available to buy or do we have to craft them, as in PC, there were very few items available to buy.
- Can we change a villagers wall & floor like we could in Wild World.
- Is there any forced internet, like having to visit an absurd amount of islands to unlock an upgrade.
- Will there be something like a beautiful town ordinance so we don't have to water flowers.
- Will there be the same kind of amiibo move-ins as per New Leaf with Harvey.
- Will there be a Tortimer style island.
- Will crafting large objects take days. (72 hours was the max in PC.)
- Can we relocate our house.
- Are there bush saplings in the game as I've only seen one bush and it was part of a house.
- Can we not be forced to have snow in the southern hemisphere winter, as it doesn't snow here and makes gameplay very depressing.
- Has the dialogue improved, because that pic with Cranston didn't make sense. It wasn't funny. It wasn't a pun. It was just nonsense.

That's all for now.

Yes absolutely, it's very weird to me we barely have any info on this game LOL

I'm curious. Why do you think there might be a chance for the mobile game essences and friendship levels to be in a mainline AC game? I feel like it is just a very obvious mobile game mechanic that wouldn't come into the actual game. Just like how Mario Odyessy wasn't like the Mario Run mobile game (like he didn't auto run or auto jump over enemies in Odyessy).

I feel like this is a bit of a bit of an unfair worry. I mean, it is animal crossing. You would fish, catch bugs, pick fruit, sell stuff, buy stuff, talk to villagers, do requests for villagers, write letters. We are probably going to see the museum back because we have seen fossils. I would be completely surprised if KK wasn't in the game because he has been in promotional material for the game. We have seen a baby Joan, so turnips are in. We have seen NPCs that look like they would be related to Nat and Chip, so we can probably expect a Bug Off and Fishing Tourney. Flowers look like they have a new growth system, so possibly a new way to get hybrids? We can collect and dress up in different clothes.

So, we can probably expect to do the same things just like any other animal crossing game. Just because they are adding a crafting mechanic doesn't mean that they are getting rid of what makes animal crossing special.

I thought the topic was about what we each want to know.

I didn't think I needed to explain why I want to know certain things. :(

They aren't worries or fears, just things I want to know.

I am aware of the other regular AC activites obviously, like bug and fish catching, etc. :)

It's no problem having things you want to know. It's also no problem with people having a discussion on a discussion forum. But, if you don't want to share, it's fine. :) I was just curious with the first part and trying to be helpful on the second part.

Absolutely throw me more info. I'm really curious about the new characters and what their roles are, how varied the personalities will be this time around, will the Roost be back? Because honestly, it's one of my favourite things and how online will work and what we can do as players. There's so many things I think we could learn without having to show everything, like most of the holidays and all the upgrades of the shops and museum could be kept a secret.

Personally, not really. The less I know about the games, the more I will enjoy about it.
