Do you want more information before release?

i am starved of information. i am so tired of being so close to release and yet only having barebones knowledge of what we're in for. there are so many basic things we don't know about the game yet and i'm tired of relying on fan analyses of the same little tidbits of non-information and screenshots. the speculation is driving me crazy.

It's no problem having things you want to know. It's also no problem with people having a discussion on a discussion forum. But, if you don't want to share, it's fine. :) I was just curious with the first part and trying to be helpful on the second part.

They were just aspects of PC that would dampen the game for me.

I feel nintendo have possibly put more thought and effort in to PC, than NH, hence, the lack of information.

It makes you think when you have nothing but your imagination to work with, you know? :)

I get it. I guess I'm just a tad more optimistic that Nintendo wouldn't put an obviously mobile game thing in a console game. Especially when the developer that made the moble game had nothing to do with the main game. I wouldn't like it if they were in New Horizons for whatever reason either.

It's confusing now, especially since the ESRB rating has in game purchases back in it. :(

I’m sure the in-game purchases disclaimer and I’m willing to bet on it, is for online connectivity via NSO it makes sense

For most of the time I've been completely confident in Nintendo. The guys over there are silly and clueless when it comes to many things, but they do know how to make polished games. And yet, by this point I am beginning to worry. Really worry. This situation is not natural. It all feels wrong, like they know they screwed up.

Yes and no. Like others have said, I don’t want any late game stuff or secrets spoiled. It’s fun to discover things as you play. But it would be nice to know a little bit more about how the game is going to work. I’m sure we’ll get more information before the release, it’s just a matter of time. In my opinion they’re being secretive because they want to build anticipation, and it’s obviously working. People are going crazy.

I think the fact that they’ve been so silent shows that they’re confident in the game they’ve made. They don’t feel the need to advertise or try to attract new fans because they know it’s going to be an instant bestseller. They made a good game, they know it’s a good game, and they’re building up the anticipation before the release of the game. And they’re going to make a TON of money off of it lol
