Do your real life habits translate into ACNL?

I like things in an orderly fashion and sometimes it might have to do with mild OCD. It translated into the game and I like to pay attention to even the smallest of detail like whether colour matches or the theme matches. I would create an excel document and carefully plan item placements and would spend hours just trying to get the room I like before I actually went into the game and filled up the room the way I designed it in the excel document

I walk barefoot around the house and outside in our courtyard. My main outfit I have no shoes or socks. I never make my character wear shoes unless it's for a special outfit so I get to hear the pitter patter of the bare feet outside and inside.

I really like to design and organize things in real life, but I normally keep my stuff pretty messy in real life. So my creativity and liking of organizing definitely translates, and I suppose my rooms have gotten messy (diys everywhere lol), so I guess my habits have transferred XD

surprisingly i dont like to design my actual room much, but on ac i tend go to crazy with the aesthetics and designing of my island. but that goes hand in hand with how detail-oriented i am bc im very focused on the little details and am quite a perfectionist, which reflects my almost 500 hour playtime LOL all of it is just designing/tearing down stuff i dont like and redoing it

Yeah, I just place things somewhere in my room to organize them later... eventually...

No. Because I actually go outside and socialize

i have a tendency to not plan things out and that definitely translated in my new leaf town as i never planned on where to put buildings, houses, pwps, etc and that led to my town looking pretty barren since it was hard to landscape with all the structural decisions i made lmao

yeah i barely do anything to the rooms in my house besides my own room, i also don't decorate my island because im lazy, its too real

I always plan out my rooms and even my landscaping in Excel too. It's the only way I can visualize it properly. LOL

Yea, I’m messy and disorganized and it shows in my game. I let my flowers grow out of control before I decided to do anything about them 🤷🏽‍♀️

I RELATE. Although I was just thinking about this today, that AC is prob exactly what I need to learn to slow down and let things take their natural course, and maybe learn to tolerate and coexist with people I don’t like as opposed to just kicking them out of my social circle. Who knows.

Being indecisive with hoarding tendencies. If there's something at the Able Sisters that I like I buy it in every colorway, and I was always out of space in previous games, and up until the final upgrade in NH I was running out of space. I'm already at 1454/1600, 3 months into the game. I'm gonna be screwed by the end of the year (and that's AFTER I cleared out a beach-full this morning!)

I love leaving things around and forgetting about where I put them and get stressed out by it
