Dodo Airlines / Dodo Business Class Issue I've Noticed...

With the recent surge of people wanting fees to visit, Dodo Business Class was made to give free to visit more limelight... but the problem I'm seeing is people aren't respecting that still, and are wording their post vaguely and still essentially asking for tips.

I think a bit of enforcement needs to start -- we can't keep reporting people every few minutes...

If OP posts in the Airport and says no entry fee or tips, but tips are appreciated, it still belongs in the Airport. Visitors are given the choice whether they want to leave a tip or not as opposed to a clearly stated entrance fee. If the host should then demand some sort of payment or tip upon entry, members can choose to leave a rating for their experience for false advertisement. Some visitors enjoy leaving tips or gifts for visits as well, despite the host not requiring them!

Alright... just seems a bit odd to have a forum section dedicated to free visits but still allows 'fees/tips' worded into it.

Because items are involved, I believe that thread belongs in Nook's Cranny. Dodo stuff is related to services (visitors or villagers crafting) and not items.

honestly the Airport should definitely get more enforcement, it's not a selling/buying forum.
"tips appreciated" is fine to stay in the Airport, but any services that require a fee or mandate a "tip" for entry should really be moved into Dodo Business Class.
but in a scenario of just "tips appreciated" and then you get to their town and they force a tip, that can always be reported.

Paying Raymond for 2k NMT, turnip runs requires fee more than 500k bells even million per trip. Celeste or Sahara requires 2-3 NMT as entrance fee

For them its tips = fee definition are same but girl nu huh imma slam this dictionary for you

bruh 2k nmt? 500k-1mil fee? what the actual heck. i completely agree, new leaf was never like this. acnh became more mainstream so obviously it'd attract a wider audience, but i'd never thought the community would have become so toxic and greedy. /:

I still think even asking for tips in Dodo Airlines should be not allowed. Just asking makes people inclined to tip, and at that point its basically a fee.

If you are inviting visitors to your island when posting in Dodo Airlines, they should have control on whether they tip or not. You don't need to mention tips...

saying tips are appreciated or anything along those lines isn't asking for tips (though even if it was, tips aren't fees. fees are mandatory, while tips are optional. thus they still would be fine in the dodo airlines board). idk why you're so obsessively focused on the word even being mentioned, when there's no enforcement to be had. and as mentioned, if a user tries to force you to tip once you get to the island, the wi-fi rating exists right there
