I've never had em. I have villagers in town that are my favorites and don't really want to leave (Fauna, Grahm, Felicity) and some that I would like to have (ie: Shep, Mira, Apple, Diana ect.) but I don't have any that I like neeeeeeeeeeeeeedddd and will pay millions of bells for.

I like letting them come and go, it keeps the game fresh for me rotating my villagers and stuff.

I also prefer the weird unpopular kinda ugly villagers no one wants like Cobb and Grahm. They have a ton of character. :D
Anybody out there feel the same?

i dont have any dreamies tbh. yes, there are some that are like more than others, but as long as they aren't overly hideous (curlos and chops... eugh), i'm fine with them.

I have villagers I really like but I'm not those people who would kill someone to have them. After all, they're just a character. x3 No villager is worth 30mil bells, in my opinion.

At first I was the same and content to let villagers come and go, but the fact that villagers can just plop their land wherever they want concerned me, so I picked 10 that I wanted.

And Graham isn't ugly! I actually considered keeping him in my town, but he put his house in such a bad spot, lol.

I don't think he's ugly either but I've seen people who do. I actually really like him and think he's adorable.

I think it's not a big deal if you have dreamies or do not. I had dreamies, but they are all obtained. I have a sibling with no dreamies and she doesn't even talk to her villagers.

I don't have dreamies and honestly it too much work to get them. I like surprises

The only game I didn't have dreamies in was PG, 'cause back then I didn't know who all the villagers were ('cause I was 14). I took ever villager as they came and befriended most of them ('cause trading villagers wasn't really a thing yet). [Skipped WW] In CF, I just waited for a few dreamies I knew about and winged it with the rest, keeping randoms I liked as long as I could. Now I'm halfway to getting all my new dreamies in New Leaf and I plan to keep them [as close to] forever [as possible]. Both styles definitely have their appeal.

I never used to have favorite villagers until New Leaf, when I would see pics of them & their conversations with the respective mayors who posted pics of them. If they seem really cute in their conversation and look cute - I usually become pretty attached! But I also have a different definition of cute than most people, Deli is my favorite.

That's enough to count them as "Dreamies."

You may indeed stick with getting any of them by not paying millions in bells. But, they still are Dreamies.

What I mean is, I'm not like I top priority NEEEEED them in my town and no other villager will do. I'm just like, if I get them, that's fine. There are several villagers I like and am happy with for the time, then I send them on their merry way. :) If I'm able to trade or buy any of those that I listed or whatever, I'll probably do it. I already have Shep and I'm working on Apple. :)

Maybe I should just call them dreamies... xD

I know that.

What I mean is this: You can still count them as Dreamies.

Dreamies can be villagers you would like to have; but that you don't have to have them over the next 24 to 72 hours.

I don't think anyone is considering the use of the word as anything extreme.

My 'dreamies' I only recently wanted after I realized that there were two villagers in game with the same names as myself and my partner of 5/6 years. I'm not questing for them or anything I'd just be happy if they moved in one day.. sort of like they're my dream villagers but I'm not bothered whether I get them or not. The only two villagers I am definitely keeping are Hamlet and Kitt because I love them (Kitt because she's an original villager who I liked and Hamlet because oh my god a tiny chubby cute hamster who acts like a tough guy is hilarious and way to difficult to take seriously).

I'm only missing 3. It took me forever to get some of them, since almost all of them are super unpopular *cough*Stinky*cough*
