Whenever I have drinks like coke and such it makes me super tired. Is it just me? How does caffeine effect you guys?

I drink caffeine regularly and it helps me wake up, but recently I’ve stopped drinking it as it has caused some health problems. I also think that it loses its effect on someone if they drink it regularly too much for a long period of time.

honestly caffeine makes me calm and focused.

Caffeine makes me hyper or tired depending on the dosage, too much caffeine makes me sick. I had to stop drinking coffee because I had developed a dependence to it and the withdrawal syndrome was really bad. I was really sick each time I had less or more than my usual dose.

Caffeine has no affect on me that I can tell. I have tried it in the mornings to help wake up and didn't notice any difference. I can drink a soda right before bed, not something I do often, but it doesn't keep me up any later than usual.

I don't know if a larger amount would have more of an affect, but I don't want to develop a dependency so I haven't tried energy drinks or anything super caffeinated.

It makes me a little more alert and less sleepy so I drink coffee before long lectures. Sometimes it makes me a little anxious too if the energy it gives me gets channeled incorrectly.

I feel like it does effect my mood a bit. But there is always that crash if you I take too much caffeine. Sometimes my heart also seems to beat faster.

It doesn’t really wake me up. I just pee 10x more

I thought I was the only one ?o?

I've had basic coffee before and it gives me zero energy, but I always have to pee after. Soda and teas that have caffeine have zero effect on me.

It can make me not sleep well at night, but only if usually drink a lot of beverages with it. This would be common at restaurants though, especially the Mexican ones because it seems like the waitresses refill drinks a lot...

For a brief moment there I thought you meant alcoholic drinks. I was about to say.

depends if i took my adhd meds, if so, i become awake and focused, if not i become "lol xd so random" so pretty annoying.

Yes, more so if I have less of it. If I have a another separate amount caffeine in a day, it will not do anything typically. The first one always makes me alert and wanting to get stuff done.

Back in the day I drank so much Coke/Pepsi/other pop with caffeine that I don't think it even effected me anymore. I stopped drinking all of those (and anything with caffeine, since I don't drink anything else with caffeine) three years ago.

On the other hand, last year I was trying teas and ended up with one with caffeine in it and I was instantly jittery and was like "Oh no, is there caffeine in this tea?" and never drank it again. So caffeine apparently effects me again. But I'm not going to mess with it.

Do you have ADHD? Caffeine tends to have the opposite effect on people with ADHD. I'm the same way... coffee kind of relaxes me and makes me sleepy. I'm trying to get off of it though. It's super addicting and gives me bad withdrawal symptoms/headaches when I go a day or two without it... so I can't just quit cold turkey I have to go slow. Caffeine is a hell of a drug I think there should be warning labels on coffee products ._.

my fridge rn, bottled fraps, canned coffee and tea, pop.. it's ridiculous.. also i think i forgot to buy food
