I can't imagine any scenario where me being on tbt would come up in conversation with my family LOL any time someone saw me doing something random for the fair like baking 24 cupcakes out of nowhere I just say I was doing it for a contest. With the exception of my brother who has an account here.
As for the game itself, my whole family knows about Animal Crossing. My mom was the one who bought it for gamecube for my birthday back in the day. We all used to play it!

I was actually introduced to the site by my sister, so yeah, part of my family knows. 
My parents know that we?re on an acnl site, and they don?t really have much to say about it. Just gotta be careful of suspicious people, but overall the community is chill so it?s not a big deal.
