I think it works like other egg hunts, where you’re not supposed to help others, give hints, or even discuss hints. Even if it’s part of your crew.

Actually, they've changed the rules on this recently. There are now community clues meant to be solved openly together and solo clues. But even solo clues can be discussed in private now.

Personally, I PREFER that we have the option of working in teams privately or working solo by yourself. This allows those who need the hep to get help and this allows those who want to work by themselves the option to.

Yes, that is the drawback to the community clues. They tend to be much harder.
